@@massi6528 not at all 😮... there are so many bad things that are happening in every single country and they also have some special or maybe strict rules . But they never showing them on their media to prevent people from being critical or the world to be aware of that ... but some iranian who unfortunately have the media such as Instagram under control, always nagging and show bad sides of our country. Any way , you're name reminds me of an Iranian famous woman whose immigrated and always like saying horrible things about Iran.😉

The word "guitar" is derived from the old Persian "chartar" which, in direct translation, means "four strings".
The guitar's ancestors came to Europe from Egypt and Mesopotamia.
Moor comes from the Latin Mauroi, meaning an inhabitant of North Africa. The Carthaginians, for instance, came from North Africa. Moorish influence in the peninsula goes back thousands of years, but it was the Islamic invasion, by largely Berber armies in 711, that determined the main musical influences from North Africa. They called the Iberian Peninsula Al-Andalus, from which the name of Andalusia derives. The Moorish and Arab conquerors brought their musical forms to the Peninsula, and at the same time, probably gathered some native influence in their music. The Emirate, and later Caliphate of Córdoba became a center of influence in both the Muslim and Christian worlds and it attracted musicians from all Islamic countries. Since 50 or more years ago in every Iranian home , they definitely have few albums of gipsy kings and we love them. Most people could sing the song without knowing any Spanish world. AS Ben Brahim well said The word "guitar" is derived from the old Persian "chartar" which, in direct translation, means "four strings". I think we have same root when it comes to guitar. Of course there are some Spanish Guitarist who are world best players.

The reason you are reminded of south Spanish music, is that Andalusian music is heavily influenced by Iranian traditional music in the time of Muslim ruling over the area, and this song also has traces of Iranian traditional music although it is a pop song.

Mohsen is a solo artist, but he usually gets a group together and plays with that band for years. The guitar is very prominent in most of his songs and he writes his own lyrics too. Many of the guitar melodies he was playing are well rooted in Persian culture and music. It was very interesting to view it through your lens and hear about the parallels with Spanish music too.
The boys here are the ones who came after Mohsen disbanded the old one.. so they werent with him since years when he perform behet live for the 1st time
