As a diehard Alabama fan I am so happy for Jaylen and all of the former Alabama players living a great lifestyle. They all have worked hard and deserve everything they have earned.

@@Messup7654 My advice to you is continue to work hard and perfect your football skills against the best. Success always start with self motivation and practice, practice and more practice. Try to go to as many professional football camps as posdible during the summer they are not cheap. The most important thing is you must maintain good grades in school if you want to get a scholarship to the University of Alabama. Finally you must believe in yourself and stay away from drugs, alcohol and people with a criminal mindset. If you do all of these things I mentioned you too should have have a successful career in football just like Waddle.
Here in Detroit really hoping Jameson Williams works out for us.

Agree with Jaylen, second house was these best. Also like how he is managing his finances. $1.5m home is right where he should be. Set himself up for an upgrade on the second deal and protects his financial health long term if injuries happen. He has a good head on his shoulders, parents raised savvy young man.

I always said if I was in their position on my rookie deal, I’d get a nice size apartment or a condo in the 6 figure range just to be safe on the financial side. But he seems smart with his money.
In addition, don't get involved with some chick looking to get in. Stay single like Leonardo and live life for now. Do not i repeat do not get married until the divorce and child support laws change to more equitable, in other word never marry here in the states.

I'm impressed, for his contract, he is actually looking at relatively modestly priced housing. It's kind of depressing but the reality of today, $1.2M or so will get you a nice house but not something a really wealthy person would own.

Here is some advice. Rent. You don't need the hassle of taking care of these houses. Plus if you get traded or sign with a new team, you are better off. Buy stocks and rent. Simple Simon. Also, you are an easy target at homes like these. Rent in the high rise condo with built in security. Then buy a house once career is finished.
Renting is just throwing money away, at least when you own you can build equity. Me personally I wouldn't be buying no big ass home if it's just me.

That way, like he even said in the video, he will get something he really wants, not something that he'll later decide he doesn't like. He seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders and he'll do that. But it's not terrible advice.
