It i since to see someone taking the boat out on a windy day, there is very little to no videos showing these boats out on a windy day. Thanks for sharing and keep up the fun videos.
Back to their boat, i have always said an anchor can be a huge deal on a lake especially if you loose your engine or mobility, it can hold your boat away form the rocks and keep from tearing it up even further. Thanks again for sharing.

I realize it's been over 2 years but, THIS is the video I have been looking for. The Grizzly 1448 on rough waters. I live on Texas, and I need to know whether or not it can handle OUR lakes. This video proves it can.

Gee your Grizzly 1448 handles some chop like it's nothing, these might be the best Jon Boats ever 🐠🎀❗️

Im looking at the 1648. Have you had any issues with leaks/welds breaking? Or anything?

@@Gabucks1 I haven't had any issues with leaks or welds. I do have some rust forming on a bolt in the floor, but that's not really a big deal. Keep in mind, my 1448 is docked and not on a trailer, so it sits in the water 24/7.

Hey what trolling motor did you slap on the back of her? I just bought a 2020 grizzly 1448 and cant find what trolling motor shaft size i should buy

Nothing fancy. Just a Minn Kota 55LB thrust 12V with the longer shaft. She's not quick, but she gets me around. A 36 inch shaft will work, but I like to stand up so the extra length of the long shaft motor lets me mount it just a bit higher, which is more comfortable.

A 112 lb. thrust Minn Kota would fly on this boat probably 8-9 mph 🏁

If you had a Minn Kota 112 lb thrust you could probably run double your speed 🏁

I upgraded to an E-Propulsion Spirit 1.0+. It's much faster now.

Okay how fast now? E- propulsion sounds interesting 🏁
