  • How about a $0 repair! You will need a few tools. Not a hard repair for sure but it's getting to the issue that takes the time.

    This is a Troy-Bilt Vortex 2490 snow thrower. It is an older model but they still sell a similar model for about the same price.
    Following the path of the fuel is where you will often locate the problem. In this case, it was a clogged carburetor. Specifically, the Emulsion Tube.

    If you don't have the tooling to clean out those holes I found bread tie wraps stripped of the wrapping wire will work

      I used something similar. A strand of stripped cat 5 cable. Or garage comm cable

      @@marywittig1505 yea. Just trying to give people a reference to size needed. I guess it's 22 gauge non stranded wire. Might be 20. Can't remember
