- How about a $0 repair! You will need a few tools. Not a hard repair for sure but it's getting to the issue that takes the time.
New carburetor: amzn.to/3tYxK8V
This is a Troy-Bilt Vortex 2490 snow thrower. It is an older model but they still sell a similar model for about the same price.
Following the path of the fuel is where you will often locate the problem. In this case, it was a clogged carburetor. Specifically, the Emulsion Tube. - Хобби
You're tenacious I'll give you that. Nice work!
I don’t have a snow blower (yet) but I appreciate your video because it may apply to another small engine that I need to tinker with in the future. Thanks👍
Great information and video thank you!🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉
If you don't have the tooling to clean out those holes I found bread tie wraps stripped of the wrapping wire will work
I used something similar. A strand of stripped cat 5 cable. Or garage comm cable
@@apex007 yes that will also work I just don't know if everyone has access to that wire
@@marywittig1505 yea. Just trying to give people a reference to size needed. I guess it's 22 gauge non stranded wire. Might be 20. Can't remember
Compressed air works good
Corrosion 😭
