Comfort is on-par, arguably better with the lower centre of gravity (so passengers don't get thrown about as much). Also the 7-seater High model offers features even the Alphard/Vellfire Executive Lounge doesn't offer, like ventilated seats in the 2nd row. Compared to the Royal Lounge models obviously the Carnival doesn't come close, but compared to the officially-available models by UMW Toyota, we're confident the Carnival blows the Japanese cars out of the water.
I dont understand the target market KIA is going for with the 8 seater mid. compare the spec with the CBU model, I'd go with the CBU coz of the price tag. or have they stopped selling the CBU model already? I think the 8 seat High spec is the sweet spot for me in sense of price & practicality. Of course if i can do the monthly payments 7 seater high spec is ok too.
The 8-Mid model is likely targeted at those who don't want something as large as the 11-seater, especially with more cargo room with the third row up. Also the improved audio system in the 8-Mid is very, very appreciated...

CBU 11s , CKD 7s HS, 8s HS are equipped with Surround View Monitor (360 degree camera ). Only the CKD 8s MS (mid) is not equipped.
