Chicago Home movies from the Great Depression (1937) Vol. 1

Last month I was at an estate sale when I saw an old 16mm film projector and 25 giant reels of film. The woman who ran the sale said it was the owner's home movies, shot by his father back in the 1930-1960s. Nearly all of it was filmed on Kodachrome 16mm too!
I bought everything there and took it home to watch. For the first time, I was able to see what an average Chicago family's life was like during the 1930s. This is Reel 1 of 4, from this era. The little boy shown in these videos is still alive today (as of the time I bought these movies). I wish I could've spoke to him but he was not there that day.
As time goes on I will eventually upload the rest. There is about 5 hours of film in total!
