Mega spend at Antics in Cardiff with great advice from Andrew. Bought, USS Wasp+New York+Arleigh Burke + Fort Worth and then all the paint, adhesive etc. Some of the boxes were so big I had them sent home by courier! It'll keep me off the streets for a while anyway. Onwards and Upwards!!
My HSBC flexible friend has spent the last two days in a darkened room!!! Shop was good, loads of yummy bits. 2 hour bus journey from Treorcy not so hot though. Can't knock it too much, a bus pass is a wonderful thing.
That is pretty impressive man! I've been on a model video kick, and I think I'm gonna try my hand at building something. I served aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz for 5 years and it's cool to see you upgrading some of the parts (I watched the aft port sponson get built in drydock). Anyway, I look forward to seeing these videos progress!
JJ Model Making not yet but next week I'm taking on a model of the CVS-10 USS Yorktown which is a Vietnam era upgraded version of the CV-10 Essex class aircraft carrier. This build will require the addition of an angled flight deck, a redesigned island, and many other smaller details, wish me luck!
JJ Model Making thank you, and by the way, the Nimitz is coming along great. If I can get a point of contact, I'll send you pictires when I'm done with it
JJ Model Making Thanks! I'll check it out. Sorry if i asked something a little off-topic there haha! btw, what is the title of this one that you used on this vid?
Just found this series as I'm about to start this kit, your scratchbuilding is really impressive across the whole hangar. Really well done 👍

Have you ever scratch built any parts for your models? Let me know as I'd love to hear more about it.

Where do you usually get the bgm?
Don't quite follow I'm afraid, what do you mean by bgm?
JJ Model Making background music*
Ahh! Mostly I use the inbuilt RUclips loyalty free music, added in post production. I quite like Kevin MacLeod's work personally. Hope this helps!

he should have filled the holes in first before Painting it yes it's a great kit but the holes need filling in first
What holes are you referring to?
The first one to figure out a way to hold the camera steady while filming their model ship is going to corner the youtube market..
