It really depends on the model, best thing is to check specific specs per model and get some backup if you need. If it's for a custom cooling block they would sometimes provide the pads with the block as most of the time they would be damaged on disassembly
@@techpoint7850 it looks like I have the same model as you. I asked Gigabyte for the thermal pad thickness but they replied back saying I had to RMA by card back to them. Was just wondering if anyone knew since I couldn't find an answer online.
Great review! I'm thinking of getting the Windforce model of this card and I wonder if you think it together with its adapter will fit a Phanteks P300 or P300a case? From the outside the case is measuring 20cm and the back has a 120mm fan installed.
Yes it should fit in the P300, we did the build in the P20C from antec, its a bit deeper (2cm) but it has some space, you could always set it up with an angled connector, or get a dedicated GEN5 cable for your PSU, that should help with comparability
Obviously Gaming OC...its most expensive among all with 1 year extra warranty which you wont get on other 2...i have this card temps dont go over 65 but mostly at 60...am very satisfied with my purchase🥳
Thank you, go for the 4070S if the price in your region fits it's value, it's better performing and more feature Rich compared to the 7800xt You could also check used 3080/6950xt if you trust used cards market and have the PSU juice to run them
I installed this into my cyberpower pc and nothing would happen. Computer turns on but the screen stays black...how does it work? Is there some sort of On/Off switch?
if you updated your cyberpower pre-built computer it woul be best to contact them for support, start by making sure all the connections are secured and well connected on all ends of the products, also make sure you Power supply is up to the job of powering the 4070 Super. check display cables and all the other things too
So the GPU is rated for 220w. You could technically calculate total system power and go lower, keep in mind that total power should be up to 80% of your PSU rating so you have some extra juice for peak loads.
Thanks for the great review ! interesting to see what the difference to the 4070 TI Super will be and also the 4080 Super
Fan noise? how is it ?
fit on mini ITX? Case and Motherboard ?
650 Watts Enough or 550Watts For DDR4 Setup?
Hello Tech Point, do you happen to know the thermal pad sizes for the RTX 4070 super gaming OC? Thanks for the informative video!

What’s better eagle oc or gaming oc or just windforce?

Honestly the difference is negligible
Hi nice review, is a 850w psu enough for this card?
Thank you, yes 850w will work with up to a 4080
Nicely done review. I'm considering this card or the 7800 XT.

check display cables and all the other things too
update the driver then it will work
750W PSU enough?
yes
אתה מישראל?
not so hard to guess eh? :D
650W PSU
I think Gigabyte recommends a minimum of 700W PSU.
So the GPU is rated for 220w.
You could technically calculate total system power and go lower, keep in mind that total power should be up to 80% of your PSU rating so you have some extra juice for peak loads.
Got this card for $599 last week... love it.
Congrats enjoy!!! 😊
@badlilstang how is the fan noise please?
