Is it really bad if you self adjust your neck and back?
At the most, it can cause you to loosen the grip in your hands and fingers and it can cause your joints to become hyper mobile but, outside of that, no. It's not bad at all.
If you knew how to do it efficiently to yourself, you wouldn't need a chiropractor. That's the only bad thing. For them anyway.
It doesn't cause pain or deterioration but, if you fuck yourself up, you can trap your nerves. So if you do self-adjust, don't crack your neck like you're trying to rip your damn head off.
A guy once did an experiment where, everyday for 40 years, he cracked all the fingers and the wrist on his left hand and didn't touch his right hand at all.
After 40 years, they were no different whatsoever.
So no, it's not really a big deal.
Just do it responsibly and you'll be fine.
