For my 8th grade project in 1979 I built this one. I painted it "desert camo" with what was in my garage. It was a decoration in my room until I moved out. I recently bought one for myself and one for my granddaughter.

I built this one in the late 70s. It was always an attention grabber. It was a great rainy day project.

Thanks for the video. Funny, I have been binge watching your videos and just started my Der Red Max yesterday. I saved those two fin marking guides for future use. Looking forward to laying down my first coat of primer later today along with continuing work on my Big Bertha and Mercury Redstone. Your videos have helped me immensely. Thanks again!

Great vid I’m working on one I picked up from a yard sale of different rockets. I had to build a new fin as one was missing. Sucks that my decals and shock cord were missing too.
