Good Lord, can I just come to one of Jaclyn's videos without the comments section looking like WW3? None of us know Jaclyn's personal life & frankly it's none of our business. We know what she so graciously shows us. I don't know about you but I come to these videos to relax, to feel better & enjoy Jaclyn and makeup. I've been through hell recently and when you lose your husband and father within 14 weeks of each other you learn what's truly important real fast. And what kinda jewelry Jaclyn wears or what she spends HER money on isn't important unless you're Jaclyn herself. I promise it will have zero affect on your life if she buys a new jacket or a pair of shoes. If you don't like her, go find someone you do like & settle your tea kettle!

Emily Sheets hey, personally, I've found that my favorite tends to be some I found at walgreens, the nature's truth calming one is amazing, (i really like all the nature's truth ones) they have a normal one for use with a diffuser, and they have a convenient roller ball one for on the go. if you end up liking it, monq has makes these like aromatherapy sticks, almost like vaping, and one is called zen and it's pretty good also
I am 63 so there are looks that you do which do not work for us mature skin people. But I watch you because I think you are a brilliant make up artist. I love hula bronzer too ! : o )

Beauty Banter Definitely after. They'll development hard spots in every spot the setting spray touches otherwise. You could just use water, but setting sprays always more convenient for me.
I've always wondered this! So thank you to everyone who replied. I usually spray before but I notice some of my shadows look different in the pan afterwards. It still performs the same but I wasnt sure if I was damaging the shadow by spraying first and then picking up shadow.
Beauty Banter I usually do after but I hold it a good distance from the brush and pigment so it doesn't get too wet. But I hear either does a great job!

question.. how do you put gloss on top of the liquid lipstick and have it not re-liquify it? whenever I do it it just turns it into a traditional lipstick and it comes off super easy.
Maggie Padron I recall jaclynn saying when she does this it still lasts forever but doesn't dry her lips out. I do have one of rimmel's provocalyppse, but I tend to gravitate towards lip stains so I can still have long lasting color and hydration at the same time. though for some reason the urban decay lipsticks seem to last forever! they are just marketed as traditional lipsticks. i have a slight obsession with lip products lol!
A thicker gloss that has some pigment to it. I use the iT cosmetics lip gloss/stain and I apply it on top of milani , ABH ,etc and it lasts a long time. It feel like a lipstick, but it does last long and fade nicely.
Seriously learned several cool tricks with this look! Love that glitter trick! And the translucent powder over the eyebrows... I will be doing that from now on! Gorgeous!

I am So happy about you sticking with the fair skin. I personally think that having a yellow undertone usually always gives a warmer look to the skin. Opposed to a pink, or cooler undertone. That's just how it goes. I am absolutely loving this! Tan skin has almost always been the standard when it comes to "beauty". It's always been easier to work with. I think embracing what you were given and influencing others to do so.. That's awesome!
just a tip in case you don't already do it. it can make a lot of difference if you clean your gel liner brush in between every use. it's tedious. but it makes the application soooo much easier
Libby Morehouse i use an angled synthetic eyeliner brush from coastal scents because it's bent and easy and every other brush is so hard for me! so if that helps then you should check it out

Sonali Vaishnav seriously I've already ordered 4 foundations from Sephora and returned all of them because the shades don't match me. Sephora never has them in-stores so I can't find a match and Jaclyn is not clear on what color she uses. I wish she would name the foundation sticks on the description like the brushes. It would be really helpful:: I use these shades when I'm tan and I use these shades when I'm light..... I'm not her shade however I always use a shade down!! The frustration 😣

Guys, please stop about the Morphe thing. My sister is just now getting into makeup and absolutely loves Jaclyn. She is 14 and has very very low self esteem and ever since she has been watching jaclyns videos with me, her confidence sky rocketed. Morphe is the brand that is affordable to my sister and it makes her so incredibly excited that Jaclyn is creating a palette that she can actually purchase without spending all of her savings. I think it's beautiful that she is keeping our pockets in mind as well when collaborating because we all start from somewhere. Please don't ruin this for my sister and everyone else who enjoys the Morphe brand. Stay positive!
Alex Horn Exactly! when she does her faves and has these high end products people get pissed. Morphe is affordable and she uses that and then people get mad at her for it. she can't win. If you don't like Morphe that's fine, but if you're starting out most people can't afford $20-30 a brush. just find another palette with similar colors and move on.

Beauty Banter Definitely after. They'll development hard spots in every spot the setting spray touches otherwise. You could just use water, but setting sprays always more convenient for me.

I've always wondered this! So thank you to everyone who replied. I usually spray before but I notice some of my shadows look different in the pan afterwards. It still performs the same but I wasnt sure if I was damaging the shadow by spraying first and then picking up shadow.
Beauty Banter I usually do after but I hold it a good distance from the brush and pigment so it doesn't get too wet. But I hear either does a great job!

question.. how do you put gloss on top of the liquid lipstick and have it not re-liquify it? whenever I do it it just turns it into a traditional lipstick and it comes off super easy.

i dont think you can, but rimmel has some liquid lipstick/glosses called provocalips if you're looking for a transfer-proof glossy lip
Maggie Padron I recall jaclynn saying when she does this it still lasts forever but doesn't dry her lips out. I do have one of rimmel's provocalyppse, but I tend to gravitate towards lip stains so I can still have long lasting color and hydration at the same time. though for some reason the urban decay lipsticks seem to last forever! they are just marketed as traditional lipsticks. i have a slight obsession with lip products lol!
A thicker gloss that has some pigment to it. I use the iT cosmetics lip gloss/stain and I apply it on top of milani , ABH ,etc and it lasts a long time. It feel like a lipstick, but it does last long and fade nicely.
Seriously learned several cool tricks with this look! Love that glitter trick! And the translucent powder over the eyebrows... I will be doing that from now on! Gorgeous!

I am So happy about you sticking with the fair skin. I personally think that having a yellow undertone usually always gives a warmer look to the skin. Opposed to a pink, or cooler undertone. That's just how it goes. I am absolutely loving this! Tan skin has almost always been the standard when it comes to "beauty". It's always been easier to work with. I think embracing what you were given and influencing others to do so.. That's awesome!

What brush do you use for your gel liner? I suck at gel liner and I think it's because I don't have a good brush
Libby Morehouse it's the "sigma" angled liner brush.. looks like an eyebrow brush

just a tip in case you don't already do it. it can make a lot of difference if you clean your gel liner brush in between every use. it's tedious. but it makes the application soooo much easier
Libby Morehouse i use an angled synthetic eyeliner brush from coastal scents because it's bent and easy and every other brush is so hard for me! so if that helps then you should check it out

Sonali Vaishnav seriously I've already ordered 4 foundations from Sephora and returned all of them because the shades don't match me. Sephora never has them in-stores so I can't find a match and Jaclyn is not clear on what color she uses. I wish she would name the foundation sticks on the description like the brushes. It would be really helpful:: I use these shades when I'm tan and I use these shades when I'm light..... I'm not her shade however I always use a shade down!! The frustration 😣

Guys, please stop about the Morphe thing. My sister is just now getting into makeup and absolutely loves Jaclyn. She is 14 and has very very low self esteem and ever since she has been watching jaclyns videos with me, her confidence sky rocketed. Morphe is the brand that is affordable to my sister and it makes her so incredibly excited that Jaclyn is creating a palette that she can actually purchase without spending all of her savings. I think it's beautiful that she is keeping our pockets in mind as well when collaborating because we all start from somewhere. Please don't ruin this for my sister and everyone else who enjoys the Morphe brand. Stay positive!

Exactly! when she does her faves and has these high end products people get pissed. Morphe is affordable and she uses that and then people get mad at her for it. she can't win. If you don't like Morphe that's fine, but if you're starting out most people can't afford $20-30 a brush. just find another palette with similar colors and move on.
