It was a HUGE hit at the Christmas party. People were fighting over it in the gift exchange game. I made some for my family members and they put it out every year as their Christmas decor. Also a cheap way to practice or stitch out a design. 😊. I bought a Innovis machine during the pandemic- has a bigger hoop option than my first machine. You’ll have lots of fun w yours! 😊
@@LifeAfter40IsGood That sounds like a hoot lol When I get more proficient I'll invest in a more modern machine but for now it's going great gune. Even have the original digitizer to scan in designs....all the best Caz
My husband just bought me the Brother SE-425 as an early birthday gift, it's almost identical to this machine I absolutely love it, I'm going to have to do this for someone!!
This is great. Wish I would have seen it before the holidays. It is still winter though so would still make a delightful gift for some quilting friends of mine.
Love this so much and I have the same machine that you do.we have a Scout dinner theme coming up that is the roaring twenties, maybe I can come up with something fun. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for taking the time to makr this video....I am going to do this for Xmas this year....it's such a cute & fun gift to give...especially to someone who has everything already....haha....
I am the worst at stuff like this, but I think it's absolutely adorable. "Let it Go" toilet paper! I love it. BTW, can I just tell you that the Tovolo scoop has been one of the best little kitchen accessories I've ever had. Thanks for showing it.
+Shelley9090 - I'm so glad you are finding that Tovolo tool useful Shelley - I use mine ALL the time!!! I am the girl who got D's in Home Ec because I would also have a hole in the middle of my sewing projects! LOL! Machine embroidery is pretty cool! I'm making Christmas presents this year. I took this concept and kicked it up a notch - made draw-string bags w/ this design to hold the toilet paper. :D
evanm076 - I love my brother machine. Excellent value since you can also see on it. However if you want to make sizes larger than 4x6 than you might want to get a larger machine. I use the sewing machine the most because I like to sew, but it’s nice to have this option especially if space is limited. One day I will get a Dream Machine! It’s on my list...waiting for the enhancements and technology to max out.
I love the design. I bought one thinking it was just like yours but the snow flakes are totally different. Where can I get your design? I also tried metallic thread and held my breath! I have a Babylock Solaris 2 so it should be able to do anything! It must be me! Help!! Thank you.
I just bought my first embroidery machine. What software do you use to view and edit your designs? There are so many and cost so much. I am a broke housewife. Love the TP idea and will hopefully use it this Christmas.
Congrats on your new embroidery machine! Its a lot of fun!!! I use Embrillance Essentials. It has a 90-day return policy (but you do have to pay up-front). It's easy to use and there is a good FB group that is very helpful if you need assistance. There is a free version for you to use that will allow you to use Bx files (some designers use this in their alphabets - which allows you to use the keyboard to type the word rather than having to drag and drop each letter into the software). Hope that helps you out! Happy Stitching!!!
Emil Capati - this is a combo sewing/embroidery machine. I bought this from online Costco. In years past they discount it by $50 this time of year!!! Get one!!!! :) if u don’t like it - u can easily return it to Costco!

SE400 is the common model number for this machine. I bought it under Costco on-line so its branded as LB-6800. It's the cheapest model that Brother makes in embroidery - but it is GREAT value! (I got it for under $400). You might be able to get it for less, but I wanted to be able to return it if I didn't like it and Costco has a great return policy. I LOVE this machine so much that if it ever breaks down - I will order another one!!! Around Christmas they discount it by $50.
Hi there. This is great! But I've tried it and everytime my toilet paper keeps getting holey! Tried reducing the tension several times but nothing helps. I've got an Innovis 90E. Totally frustrating. What do you suggest??
HA HA! I made this same design on material and made draw-string bags for my sister-in-laws for Christmas last year so they could just put them in the bathroom w/out having to worry about which toilet paper roll is being used.
I give this as a bridal gift all the time, it is used as decor only, I usually give matching quest towels with it makes a great gift. You can also give it as she stated in the video as a gag girft, enjoyed your video.
How creative! I like your frugal tips!.
These are a fun gift too. People love them.
Nice tip about the patch stabilizer, saves on wasting stabilizers..thank you
Thanks Shadow! Every little bit of savings helps right? :)
