@0:05:36, Never curated formats for millions but here are my two cents: I like how Timeless has fetches and feels more adjacent to Modern. Where Historic is in this middle space of being more powerful than Pioneer and not yet Modern. If fetches are added to Historic, then it feels redundant with Timeless/Modern. Or is the goal to add more powerful cards to Timeless and push Timeless towards legacy power level (where Dark Ritual / Brainstorm are properly legal)? Then Historic becomes Modern? I think that will require a few more anthologies. As is, we are how many months late for completing Pioneer? WotC made a verbal commitment for finishing competitive Pioneer to MTGA but that was like 2022 and maybe its 2025 or 2026 if that would happen lol Fleshing out Modern and Pioneer cards seems like the goal. Making Timeless a close to Modern port (Ideally though Historic gets to play with digital cards and Timeless has that banned out; to become Modern 2.0)
