I hope you enjoy them! I'm glad you're going this route. That's exactly where I was when I decided to go keto almost six years ago. You'll be surprised how quickly your numbers start to improve! 💜
Thank you for this recipe!!! I just stared carnivore 3 weeks ago and am having some serious meat aversion. These are perfect and will help me tremendously! Thanks again! 😊
I fasted for 20 hours and made these DELIGHTFUL chaffles! Karen, they are SO good! I've had 3, might eat the other two. Super good! Thanks for the recipe.
I’ve made these several times. I love them! What I do is look for the smallest eggs that I have on hand. When I use the smaller eggs, 1/2 cup of cheese works well.
Brand new to your channel. I''ve never used canned chicken before, so very curious. Your description of it sounds real good. I'll be trying your recipe this weekend. Recently, I started making chaffles again after not making them in over a year, and ended up splurging for the larger Dash waffle maker so I can make 4 at a time. My patience wore thin only being able to make 1 at a time. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
I made your chicken chaffle recipe using mozzarella because that’s what I had to use up. My kids absolutely loved them!! Next time I’ll try w/cheddar. Thanks for posting 💕
I am very late to the party lol but after buying a Dash I've been looking for recipes. I made this tonight with chicken, eggs, a bag of Tillamook Mexican blend (because it was open) & several different seasonings. Put down a base of this cheese on the Dash then some of the batter.. made two like that for my tomato sandwich with some mayo & grey poupon and pickles.... it was delicious! Just starting this and don't really have but a few pounds I'd like to lose just trying to cut carbs. Thanks for the recipe❤
EXCELLENT ❤️ 😊 I just made and ate 3 of your chicken chaffles for a very late supper 👍 I will DEFINITELY be making these again. I've written your recipe down and added a check mark in the corner 😉
Looks fantastic. I can’t wait to try it. I’m new taquito and looking for different recipes and this one is awesome thank you. I hope you keep them coming.
added a few snips of chives and a sprinkling of bacon bits. Stuck a burger patty between two of them with a bit of homemade mayo and called it the best burger ever! No worries if you don't have a chaffle iron. I cooked the first ones in the iron and the last one I cooked on a nonstick crepe pan. It was every bit as good and you'd be able to cook all of them at once. Longer cook time, though, since only one side heat source.
@@recreatingkaren Browning them up for 4 - 5 minutes per side seems to do the trick. And I think I like the inner texture, the chicken remained more moist than the chaffle version. But....it's all good!
These look delicious. Whenever I'm craving a pizza, I just make a chicken/parmesan cheese crust and top with a little Rao's, some pepperoni's, and cheese. This seems way easier so I'm going to try it out tonight. Thanks for the recipe.
This is a fine recipe. I am so loving the chaffles we eat. We have experimented with several recipes. We have used several different cheeses, cheddar, Parmesan, mozzarella, lots of different spices, eggs with and without the yolk, a tiny bit of almond flour and different oil’s, coconut, butter, bacon and several different meats. We’ve made this our substitute bread for pizza, ham and cheese sandwiches, buttered toast and chicken chaffles, etc.. This is such a good keto friendly food. Thank you for sharing.
Sometimes cellulose, sometimes potato starch. Definitely something every person should keep in mind so they can decide whether or not it works for them. 👍 Thanks for mentioning it in case others didn't know! I haven't experienced any negative effect myself, but I'm sure others are more sensitive to it. 👍
This is true! I just recently learned this and have been buying block cheese and shredding at home. I am glad someone made this comment for those who still do not know.
I was at the store and saw a sale for a pack of canned chicken and my brain was telling me that was important, but I couldn't think of a use for it. I've been anticipating this recipe video and I've been researching chicken chaffels, but wanted to see what you did first. Thanks SKV... I will try this soon... 👍👍👍
@@recreatingkaren OK, so I finally tried these, but I forgot to buy cheddar cheese; I used mozzarella... A bit bland buy OK, better follow the recipe better next time. I will report... Very easy to make, but with one mini dash takes a while...😅😂🤣
I followed this recipe exactly for the 1st two chaffles. Then, I added some Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning to the mix, and...OH. MY. GOD.....YUMMY!!!!😋
These were so good. Im wo dering if leftover rotisserie chicken would work as well, because the canned chicken is so moist. Has anyone tried this? I'd love to hear your experiences.
Made them and love them! I added onion powder, garlic, pepper and Tony chachere's creole seasoning. I heard today about making small patties and airfry like nuggets. I might try that too
Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Onion powder is my favorite thing to add, but I was out when I made the video. Creole seasoning sounds like a great idea!
I will have to try this. thank you. I make a sauce for wings which I'm going to try. It's not complicated... a couple TBsp of melted bu7tter and add Franks' Hot sauce to taste. I bet that would be good, too if you like Franks. Best wishes.
Thank you for posting this! Love your videos too. I made these recently with the same recipe but with buffalo sauce added; they were called "buffalo chicken chaffles"; basically the same and they were delicious! My only complaint was afterwards; my chaffle maker was extremely greasy; like dripping grease whenever I would move it around from inside it; no matter how much I cleaned it. Any advice for that? Thanks!
I very rarely grease my dash whenever cheese is one of the ingredients in the batter, there's enough in the cheese that makes a mess (I mostly make wonderbread chaffle that don't have cheese). I also never fill it to the point where it overflows, and occasionally I'll take it apart for a thorough cleaning
i would see a sandwich made with these, and lettuce, tomato and bacon for a club sandwich taste!
I can't wait to try them! I'm just starting this keto journey due to a diabetes diagnosis. Love you mean it back at ya!

I bet salmon would be good like salmon patties
I also thought tinned salmon would be and and cooked up a batch. They were delicious 😋

Btw, since I just joined and watched your video where you were starting the "new" plan, I can see a huge difference in your face already. Wow!
Thank you! I keep threatening to use these for a chicken parm recipe, so I need to do that soon! And thank you for the compliment!
I tried these just a few days ago and took them on a hike....totally awesome! I love the we have the same late 1970's plates:) Ha!
Wow, I need a mini waffle iron. Wonder if it would work with shredded left over chicken?

Pre shredded cheese has additives. Cellulose is one and it is basically sawdust, tree bark

And now they add antibiotics too..I shred my own.
Nice recipe, haven’t made yet but really looks appetizing.
I can’t wait to try these! Adding some chopped scallions and am excited to even have some cold as snacks.
Thank you! Another great idea instead of the same ol normal plain ones my husband requests daily😂
Karen!! I saved this for January when I'm going back to eating cheese! Thank you! 😍😍😍
New subscriber and this is a great variation of the original chaffle. 😊
I can’t wait to try this. I found your channel through Ready Set Keto and am enjoying your videos. Thanks!

Looks great! Will definitely be trying once I’m done with bbbe. Can’t wait for that haha! And I love the grandma plates

Same 😂
Oh my God ! This is sooooo delicious ! Thank you !
Hello. First-time visitor. Mission Keto sent me. I'm excited to try these. I don't have a waffle maker, so I'll try them in the air fryer.
Awesome! I'm sure they'll turn out awesome in there, too!
@@recreatingkaren I’ll let you know!
Thanks for the recipe. I’m going to make these for snacks when I just need something small to tie me over. 😊
Very good. Thank you!
Whelp, seems like I’ll be getting myself a Dash tomorrow 🤣 Those look delicious 🤤
I can't do dairy, I'm going to try pork panko instead of cheese..
These are fantastic, just made a batch for work lunches. Planning to spread cream cheese on them 😋 do you think you could freeze them?
Use grate your own Swiss or Monterey Jack and you will reduce your carbs. Tastes great!
I finally got around to making these! They’re delicious. Thank you!!

Can’t wait to make it. Thanks 🙏
I made it today. DELICIOUS! My husband loved it too. He ate it with no-sugar ketchup
Awesome!! I'm so glad you tried them!! ❤️
I wonder how the texture would be if you put all the ingredients in a food processor? 🤔🤔🤔
I thank will try this but use a burger press and cook in an air frier. I have 2 dash but what to try a different way to cook.
Easy Peasy and yummy!
Café Bustelo oh yeah!! 😵💫👍🏼

What if you added abit of almond flour like 1 T and baking powder which makes things rise, anyone tried it?
I was wondering the same thing. Lots of other chaffle recipes seem to add those ingredients.
Thanks I will be making this today:))))))
Nice video thank you 😊👍
I make one like an Arby's roast beef sandwich.
Love your videos
you need to make more videos
Use Block cheese 🧀 it dont gots flour or starches to keep um separated
cannot wait to make these. i'm keto. mom im caring for is not. great compromise 👏👏👏😀

could you not boil up a bunch of chicken breast and make it from scratch if your trying not to eat out of a can ?
I haven't tried it, but I don't see why that wouldn't work!
