The guy made his brother play the Russian roulette game with his family, then watch their bodies rot. Confirmed by Angela Kang.
That’s just sick and fucked up
Why didn't the brother shoot himself? He could after when he wanted to be with them
now THIS was a good episode. really miss these type of episodes where they go searching for supplies and experience things like these
I think Gabriel has more chemistry with Aaron than with Rosita.
They were great in this episode
Robert Patrick was amazing, let’s just say that!
I agree 1000%. (T-1000 that is)
Robert Patrick should've been the last villain for last season of the walking dead ! 👏😎
This episode was a prime example of why I love post-apocalyptic themed stories. There are so many ways you can tackle the theme of survival. This is one of the reasons I love the walking dead. Prior to watching the show, I wasn't really into the zombie genre. This show definitely piqued my interest. There are an infinite amount of ways to survive in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by zombies, most of them are probably pretty dark. Great episode, great reaction.
This is honestly one of the darkest and most impactful episodes of the show for me. After watching it I just kinda sat there. I was totally invested the whole time, and honestly wasn't sure I would be when I realized it was a Gabriel/Aaron central episode. Don't hate on me, I love both characters but I didn't see them as being able to hold an entire episode on their own.
This is easily one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. Major character development blended in with darkness and bleakness. The acting was phenomenal too!
My jaw hit the FLOOR at what Gabe did. This is somehow like a TOP 5 episode of the whole show for me.
@@LSHSrandomness I thought Gabe was gonna kill the guy, but then they went on long enough that I was starting to think "This might be a fun new side character to join the group." and then WAM!
I think Gabe has come far enough in his arc to warrant more credit than he's been given tbh. I know it's a loaded cast but he kills it every time. Can't say the same for Aaron, even though I like him.
Did anyone else get Rick energy from Gabriel this episode? Bashing that guy’s head in was totally something Rick would’ve done.
Aaron totally lost faith in his beliefs, watching Gabriel be a total savage. You could tell that he believed what Gabriel was saying, but it was just words. Jesus, dude. Dark episode.
Yeah that was the old Gabriel before he became savage. Gabriel just acted the way he used to be.
My new favourite bromance. What a great episode. Who would have thought that Gabe would turn out the way he has. Aaron has always been a good guy.
Was actually very pleasantly surprised with this episode, I loved the Gabriel scene talking about his old teacher
Dang
These standalone episodes are so "season 4-ish" when they just walked arorund looking for supplies, i LOVE these
Honestly and so much people dont like them and I thought that there amazing
@@skyjit8337 it's why FTWD was so poorly received when it first came on. Yes, the first two and half seasons were pretty slow. But it allowed you to really get to know all the characters. It's something the main show did very well in its early stages and at other various points, like season 4. Character development is ALWAYS something I'll greatly appreciate!!
@@csi2448 Except..all the charactes in FTWD are badly written and character develpoment is trash. FTWD was supposed to be about th collapse of the world but they skipped it one episode...they skipped the one thing that was supposed to be the theme of the show. No shame at all. It is basically a clone version of walking dead but with worse characters and writing. That is why everyone hates it, and they should be. Hard pass.
@@dimel1347 they didn't have the budget to do any of that. I'll personally take season 3 of Fear over any season of the main show. It "cloned" the main show and did a way better job. It's a shame Gimple ran the main show into the ground and he got fired. Cause then he took over Fear and ran that show into the ground by shoehorning Morgan, one of the worst written characters, into the show
@@csi2448 exactly that's why I like it and this was a crazy episode no doubt
Nikki's face when Father Gabriel killed him was priceless!!
Look I get it, Gabriel did betray Mays, but given that Mays murdered his family and tortured his brother, he's not exactly in the "deserve to live" zone.
@@momocraftakar6274 Good. His brother was just as shitty.

Abe: “You’d have better luck pickin’ up a turd by it’s clean end”
I heard Robert Patrick was going to be in The Walking Dead, but I was hoping he was going to be an actual character in this show, but this was a very powerful episode!
Was a s8 Rick move . Didn't like it then, don't like it now.
Because, it's Robert Patrick freaking t1000.
He's NOT DEAD . . . IS HE??
Aaron and Gabriel didn't just show up and steal the stuff. They announced themselves. They tried to see if someone was there. He hid so he could carry out his own agenda. I don't think it would've mattered what he overheard them say.
I guess the T-1000(Robert Patrick) got dropped off in the wrong timeline.
Don't worry, he will just regenerate because he's made of liquid metal.
lmaoooo
@Jake Wotanaz Why? I actually enjoyed this ep more than the last one and would much rather watch a spin-off of these two than Daryl and Carol.
Another see 😂🤡🤡
Talk to the hand XD!!!
Knock it off 😂
Abe Quote: we’re neck deep in shit creek with our mouths wide open.
Oh Abraham ❤
Abe: Loose ends make my ass itch.🤣 Rick would be proud of father gabriel.
I think if you're looking for a particular kind of tension where the result is someone dying, it can be considered a lack. But it's important to note that from the characters' POV their lives are still very much at risk and yet someone doesn't always die, and that's okay. This was my fave ep of 10c so far. Brilliant character work from Seth Gilliam (Father Gabe).
Yeah, they went to the psychological horror on this episode. Yeah, when they found the captured brother, it proved he wasn't stable and couldn't be trusted.
My favorite Abraham favorite line was
When you were, uh, pouring the Bisquick, were you trying to make pancakes?
Lol 😂
Glenn's face is so fucking funny hahahaha
Aaron's face when he puts the gun to his head got me 😰
Who Knew Gabriel Would Be On This Show This Long 🤣 But Glad He Is
The actor who played Gregory was in Terminator 2, obviously Robert Patrick was also in it, and Gale Anne Hurd who is a producer for TWD was also a producer for that movie too. Pretty cool.
Oh terminator so That's why its was familiar lol nice catch
Crazy guy: Points gun away from Aaron and looks at Gabriel for a good 15 seconds.
Aaron: Doesn't shoot him with the loaded gun in his hand and proceeds to play Russian Roulette.
Going back to watch all of my favorite reaction channels and you two are definitely my favorite for this episode. Keep up the great work
I like this episode. Gabriel went crazy!! 😳
Savage Level 10 reached.
This was nothing compared to when he went full American Psycho on Dante.
@Mike C
Yep! That was a straight up prison shanking.
When Aaron helped Gabriel up at 14:43 I thought Gabriel accidentally stabbed him with the machete since he couldn't really see from the mud. I screamed at the tv!
‘Porchdick’ was Chris Hardwick’s quote on Talking Dead in regards to Pete after TWD S05E12 aired. Its very Abraham-esque, but was never used by the man himself.
Robert Patrick is always a welcome sight in whatever role he plays
Wow I didn't hear it on the first watch but the brother that was tied up says "he made us play" as they approached him. This was some dark sh..ut your mouth! 😨 This was one of the best overall episodes in a while. All the actors brought their A game👍
Well that actor that she may not recognize is Robert Patrick who played the villain in Terminator two
when Abraham said “what the bitch” that had me crackin up
Wow this episode hits hard. One of the darkest in recent memory.
Remember the "alarm clock" trick was first used by Daryl in the episode where Aaron, Jesus and Daryl were search for Eugene.
Did Enid use a timer too?
I'm really liking these stand alone episodes that are giving us looks into certain characters.
"That actor..."
Really? You guys don't know Robert Patrick?!?
He's the terminator!! He's been so many things, I can't believe you don't know him!
he looked familiar but couldn't pin it... we had no idea he was going to be on TWD and he looks NOTHING like he did in Terminator - it was 30 years ago.
Gabriel did the right thing. Even if it was wrong.
Nah, it wasn't wrong. He would've been a major risk to everyone & was pretty mentally gone. I do agree with his toilet paper preferance, though lol
I was wondering was Mays’s brother was a clergyman? It would make sense with the Bibles and why he was questioning Gabriel’s belief.
"He probably got a kid now somewhere" Wait, why haven't i thought about this????
The Walkers in the field hidding reminded me of the Raptors from Jurassic Park 😅
Steven you keep saying that you'r not worried about any character but when aron was about to shot him self duuude,i've seen it, that fake ass laugh when nikki looks at you😂😂😂😂 man i just love you.
27:54 Nikki has the best pause faces.. Lol.
As for pencils and big sheets of paper (for map drawing), you have to figure stores like Michael's which stock mainly craft supplies, would NOT be a high priority for survivors of an apocalypse and would have a good deal of inventory, even 10 years in.
we just came across a dude who used the bible pages as TP... i just tend to think most things would be gone 10+ years in because creative ways would be found to use any and all items.
When you think of how many pencils and pens there are in the world in homes, schools, businesses and unsold in stores and really no use for them anymore I think they’d be easy to find. And they last forever when you have nothing to write.
@@NikkiStevenReact I hear you but as we saw at the beginning of the pandemic, TP is much more of a crucial necessity when compared to pencils... apocalypse or not. And not to be a dick, but out of curiosity, I researched how many pencils there are in the world and the answer I came up with is that there are approximately 14 BILLION pencils manufactured EVERY YEAR in the world. I highly doubt walkers have an overwhelming need for them, and there are far fewer people alive than pre-apocalypse so, I still think there would be a good number of pencils around... even 10 years in.
P.S. Love your reactions.
@@willemaq weather, nothing being cleaned or maintained & bugs everywhere... I still assume wood products would be pretty run down and unusable 10 years in. Again, just me.
Glenn: "It's barely noon."
Abe: "I don't give a monkey's left nut, none of us have slept more than a couple of hours straight since we whent all Casey Jones!"
and... "I'm fit as a damn fiddle!"
This was my favorite out of the 3.
3 what?
@@user-rh5rz6nd4p from the extended season. They played 3 episodes & that one was my favorite out of the 3.
The all time best Abraham line was: When you were pouring the Bisquik did you mean to make pancakes!! 😂🤣😂
Epic Abraham line!!!!!
Nikki's reaction to the guy who shot himself: What's wrong with these people?!
Pause at 29:34! A bullet hole on the skull of the child's right temple! That psycho asshole brother made them play Russian roulette and killed them in front of his brother!
Gabriel's mace to the mays face was more satisfying after learning this!
Pencils would be even more easy to come by than food or ammo. Pencils don't rot or turn bad as quick as food and people in the apocalypse barely uses pencils so there's plenty to go around.
On 26:10 when Steven is saying “Shoot him right now” that’s what I was screaming at the TV too😂😂
Forced his brother to play roulette and his brother shot and killed his own wife and kid rather than shoot himself like Aaron was going to. He said, "He made me play."
It occurred to me that maybe his brother shot and killed his wife and child rather than leave them to the mercy of his crazy brother. You saw how his life was. Maybe it was a mercy killing rather than cowardice.
Mays was played by Robert Patrick aka T-1000, the main antagonist of "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" as well as Jack Herveaux in "True Blood".
Also FBI agent John Dogget in the "X-Files" TV series.
they're putting these actors and actresses through the ringer with these pandemic episodes, they're doing the euphoria strategy lol
As soon as I heard them say water tower I was like uh oh!!
a black man had a pet tiger in the south, and your question is how realistic would it be to get a pencil......bro lol
Abraham: This is how I want it.
Rosita: Why?
Abraham: Why are dingleberries brown? It’s just the way sh*t is.
-6×12 “Not Tomorrow Yet”
I think Aaron was fucked up because one more shot and he would’ve been dead. That guys brother took the bullet meant for Aaron. He almost didn’t see Grace again, and get another chance to help people.
Robert Patrick is epic,..
I loved it! And it has a Tarantino's touch.
I don't know if you realize but the bullet of they guy that killed himself is the one that Aaron was gonna get if he pulled the trigger
Gariel ain't playin with nobody. Let's go.
The actor who played the villain from this episode is ROBERT PATRICK !
Not gonna lie. I’m a little disappointed they only used Robert Patrick for only one episode. You don’t just waste the T-1000 like that.
Isn’t he still on Mayans MC??? Dudes probably busy lol
@@JReece3000 Faxs
Father Gabe Falling in the mud maybe funny to Arron
Me: Get a Free Mud bath while you can you know how much they charge for a Mud bath a spa?
It just occurred to me, that what Mays says here 25:47 that he considered it "my food" instead of our food. So, the brother choosing to kill his family rather than leaving him with this psycho brother, makes it more of a compassionate killing, rather than murder. Mays was obviously keeping a stash for himself, rather than sharing it with the wife & kid.
We rarely get to see any characters on this show LOL, so seeing Gabe do it, was VERY contagious.
Gabriel has inherited the skill of his former pastor, knowing just what to say at the right moment. It worked on Mays, but for a different reason.
That grasshopper didn’t ask for that 🤣🤣🤣
Steven: “I’m not concerned about Gabe or Aaron getting hurt in these episodes...”
Mays: “I wanna play a game”
When Gabriel threw the timer to lure walkers out. It reminded me of Enid and now I'm sad.
abe quote: "How long you think those two been bumpin' uglies?"
Robert Patrick was amazing in this! I wish he could've stuck around a bit.
very interesting character that's for sure
Saw a smaller article that showed that the whiskey they were drinking was named after a season one character. Loved the little nod to Duane Jones (Morgan’s son). RIP to him. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Good to see T-1000 AKA Robert Patrick making a guest appearance
Another choice because of COVID was the choice to show the walker kills in very artistic ways such as the opening scene with the flowers! Steven I shared your sentiment for not being concerned for their safety because they're very unlikely to kill any of our main cast in these 6. The acting was phenomenal in this episode but SO much of this episode was based around tension & suspense for those 2 during the game & as a result other than the moral crossroads we faced & the incredible acting, this episode didn't do a ton for me. Not a bad episode by ANY means but I hope the next 3 are a bit more plot-oriented before S11 this summer :D!
yeah 100% how I felt. so well acted, but didnt move plot at all. Unless you are a comic fan.
I guess you didn't realize.... But that was Robert Patrick..... Remember t1000?
Aron is a real one😭
Nikki be so worried & terrified... while Steven just be sitting there laughing!🤣😬
Bashing over the head lool stevens intuition againnn nikki too with the brother being alive and then steven again with the guy shooting himself lool
" When you were pouring the Bisquick... Were you tryin' to make pancakes?"
That actor has been in a lot of movies the most famous was Terminator 2 he was the T 1000 cop after John Connor
“When you were pouring the bisquick, were you trying to make pancakes.....”
Leah will reunite with Daryl in season 11 and Daryl will meet his son. That's my prediction.
If you're right that could mean they'll kill off Daryl before the show is over. Daryl having a son sounds like spin-off material.
7:50 I think the last time someone “got some booty” was King Ezekiel with Carol😅.
Gabriel just sealed his fate to die in season 11. Potentially getting dwight’s comic death.
25:23 Thats what I said in my reaction! This episode SHOOK me and I wasn’t expecting it to at all!! Loving the reactions!!
I feel sad for Mays. He had only lost faith in people and regained it only to be betrayed again by being killed by Gabriel. Mays was right.
So you make people play Russian roulette . What he was crazy
@@bubba8751 It's a little twisted, I know. but his brother wanted to kill him, he made him play with his family and they probably wanted to kill each other and there he ended up losing faith. He could have killed Aaron and Gabriel, but he didn't. Rick and his group killed people they didn't know while they slept and Gabriel let all those people die. Do not forget.
@@bubba8751 Negan bashed people's heads infront of their friends and he is now part of the community so I mean...
Mays left, he caught the left 🤣
So his brother betrays him and he loses faith in all human beings and takes it out on his brother's family, and anyone else who happens by. His brother stole his food. He coerced his brother into killing his own family. Not even on the same level. The whole, "somebody hurt me so I'm going to hurt EVERYBODY" thing doesn't draw that much pity from me, it's just too self-absorbed, like, "The whole world and everyone else in it is irrelevant, it's all about ME." I think what Gabriel did was the best choice, if Gabriel had actually brought Mays back with them he would have recklessly risked all the people he loved to a loose cannon.
Best one so far.
"Bitch nuts." -Sgt. Abraham Ford, Ep. 616.
I actually never heard that no one would die in these episodes, so this gave me major anxiety lol
I’m just making assumptions about that
Wouldn't it make a better season finale going into season 11 if they do kill off a character?? I do.
@@brewcityjesus I guess something is going to happen to Negan at least.
@@NikkiStevenReact Robert Patrick from T2.
@@brewcityjesus True, but it would be such a shocker if they offed someone now.
Here’s the thing. Maggie forgave Daryl, so we have no right to judge him when Glenn’s own widow doesn’t even blame him.
Forgiveness does not remove blame. The act doesn’t go away. A loved one’s forgiveness does not remove pain and trauma from others close to Glen.
Context and intention matters. Daryl punched Negan out of anger for losing Abraham and to protect Rosita as Negan was taunting her. This guy? There’s no logical reason for doing what he did.
@@NikkiStevenReact Daryl is also among those close to Glenn as well. He’s as much affected as anyone else. Also the only person to blame is Negan for what happened to Glenn.
@@NikkiStevenReact honestly I don't even think Carol knows about that. She wasn't there. I think the only thing she knows from that event was Glenn and Abe's death. Anyway, I doubt any character would try to assert blame on Daryl for that, since Negan traumatized the hell out of all of them, and their primary focus would be on him, not Daryl. Even if they did, they'd prob also think he served his time for it in the cell having to eat dog food and listen to "Easy Street" for who knows how long. If anything, he's paid for the debt he owed upon Glenn's death, regardless of where you stand on this. This is all history for everyone, it's an overly talked-about point.
@@alkavonstra5479 To me Negan's endgame plainly was to break Rick. That whole theater of terror he performed was to get to that place and it didn't happen until he took Rick away, terrorized him individually for a while and then was going to make him cut off Carl's arm. Daryl's outburst was just an provoked excuse to do something that he was probably going to do anyway. To me Abraham and Glenn are dead because Negan murdered them, period. I get pretty frustrated with the Daryl blame. It's like another form of blaming the victim.
Aaron: Gabriel!
Gabriel: No he's gonna hear this! XD
Only 3 episodes left this season, can't wait to see you guys' reaction on the rest, especially the Here's Negan finale
Lesson: If you find a locked warehouse with supplies inside, someone put them there. Hide nearby and stake out the location and wait to see who shows up, or do a smash and grab. Don't move in and get drunk like an idiot.
