How do you tell the difference between initial and final velocity on the vertical axis?

      I had the same question

@@Lex-sz2dr I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that the initial velocity would be the speed at which the object was sent, but since its at an angle, its like your doing trigonometry which is how he gets 20*sin30. The final velocity is 0 because theoretically when the object reaches its maximum height, it will come to a complete stop, meaning that its velocity is 0m/s
