This is cool man. My wife got lucky a few weeks ago and caught traction with some of her jewelry. I've been a good little husband and packaging and shipping all the things. She's made $3500 in three weeks. I could almost cry. I got laid off in March and started my own small business doing cnc work. My wife bottled lightning first so I'm trying to see how I can incorporate my tools and skill into her work. It's actually kind of scary to suddenly have this traction. We got our shot and now its up to us and only us to pull it off. This is what I've been dreaming of.
Wooden jewelry boxes would be a good way to incorporate both of your skills. You could make the boxes, she makes the jewelry to go in them. I do not mean just typical jewelry boxes either - I mean doing some cool ones too to test yourself. Ones that are like puzzles or have designs on top. They also do wooden jewelry so you could make the wood part and she could make it into jewelry.
Congrats on the big sales..I have a CNCand will be retiring from truck driving in a few months and will be doing the CNC full time and hope my channel can grow since I will have more time to contribute...I will be buying your plans to make my own...thanks for all you do for the CNC community

Kudos to you bro. Out of work right now do to a medical issue. Until it gets resolved, I won't be allowed back to work. I'm a truck driver. It's what I do. Years ago I managed a wood shop in NYC. I ran a huge CNC machine, 12'x5' Selexx Pal. It was lots of fun and took a load off my shoulders. Maybe, just maybe I can do my own thing. Be Blessed.
Failling down the RUclips rabbit hole can sometimes be rewarding. Here I am reviewing your video. What I got out of it is, some inspiration to become more organized with my efforts, and wood working projects. It can be extremely frustrating at times. I'm a single 46 year old, with no family to back me, and recovering from a 15 years long battle with drug addiction. If not for my children and wood working, I'm afraid to think of where I might be if I continued down my dark path. So, thank you, thank you very much for sharing your accomplishments. Chris I am so glad you get your children in the video. I had a smile go around my head when I saw them with you. You keep making this real Chris and I know you'll blessed richly by God. Your prioities are top of the line and I admire you so much. Trust me Chris I am 72 years old and I didn't make my family the prioity. This is fantastic for you and your family. Let you also know your magnetic tool holder and bit holder got a lot of talk on a Facebook group small woodworking shop. A guy put a post up and said got the idea from your video. Everybody was asking and I linked the video to it. Might be your next launch. Who knows. Praying for continued success for your family
Congrats on your success! Toying with the idea of starting my own shop. Gotta focus on finding a building for my wife's business first. I really appreciate you not cutting out the kids invading your shop/video. It's all about family and my wife and I love those moments! Keep plugging along! We hope to be joining you soon!
I bought one too! It is cool and def functional, but the reason I bought it was the first vid grabbed me. Dads with kids relate to dads with kids. Congratulations on you success!
When you get done with all this - a spindle sander or a belt sander combo would do you tons of service. We bought a skill, the lower end cost spectrum definitely, but our plan stand business it is our most used tool. We sand almost everything with it. Love the videos!
I have a spindle Sander. And yes I’ve considered using it however at this point I’m looking for something really efficient and I know a sander upside down it’s kind of green acres. But it seems to work OK for now. Thanks for the tips as any way to be a little more efficient is fantastic. Also my price point is a bit lower so the customer can do most of the final sanding and shaping if they want to put chamfers or round overs

Congratulations. Looking forward to getting mine. One thing that jumped out at me in this video - with the kids running around the shop, you should strap the plywood to your cart. Avoid any accidents if one of the kids runs it to the cart

When you pulled that waste off, all i could see is the dozens of knobs you could cut out of that football shape between the parts... not sure if it's even worth looking into, but you'd be surprised how much added use you can get out of the waste if you are planning ahead! Keep up the great work on the channel!
That is awesome!!!! 👍👍👍 I know you're wanting to make this in your own shop but, in case you don't know, if you get an even larger waiting list and need some help April Wilkerson now takes CNC production orders. Keep up the great work 👍👍

I feel like the CNC helped you fulfill the orders. You generated the orders 100% from your past efforts building a following and with your design. But that's semantics. Congrats on your success.
Well done with the design and manufacturing. Also.... I appreciate the help getting the files downloaded. Like I said in the messages....you're going to be have a April Wilkinson size channel in no time. You are already building a fan base of dedicated viewers and your steadily growing.
