Not that it would matter in the kangaroo courts in most of America where police and deputies are collection agents for the government’s grift, but you might’ve had legal standing if you asked for a FOIL form upon entering the Clerk’s office. When she called police after that, you could have said it was an attempt to chill your civil rights of requesting official records by calling police. The fact that you are using a camera is only icing on the cake and you can state that you suspected them of violating rights and you decided to record your request.
Why do they think that what you won't tell them you'll have to tell the police? We don't have to tell the police jack squat. They don't rule over us they work for us.
