At the moment, the film is in the box office in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. In other countries, it is not possible to arrange screenings due to lockdown. The trailers starts with the words, "This film shouldn't have happened." I agree. I don't think that the lives of the monks on Holy Mount Athos should be made public. There are mysteries and emotions of those who are Orthodox Christians that should be hidden away from public scrutiny. I feel quite sad that this documentary was even made. (Posted March14, 2021)
The abbot of the monastery blessed the shooting of the film. The monks watched the film and they had no questions. I hope you will see the film and all questions will be settled. God bless you!

Today, a friend from Romania told me how beautiful the film was, and not gonna lie, after desperate online searches to view it myself, all I felt for that friend was envy, I have always loved to know things about monastic life, monks are like angels for me, it is enough to see them and my soul is filled with joy, and the fact that I have no chance to watch this movie makes me extremely sad :( anyway, God bless you! Since you made an atheist friend love what he saw, I'm sure you'd change a lot of lives with this film! 🤍☦️
