This is not a skit for foreigners. A lot of word play, improvisation and transformation of the Polish language, which cannot be translated at all, because the words they invented do not exist in the Polish language. The whole story is coherent, but due to the above word games it will not be understandable to foreigners even after translation. All the more so because there are threads typical of Poland woven into it. A foreigner has no chance of understanding them.

If I remember correctly, it's an encore skit, so they played it freely. Neo-Nówka is a very specific cabaret, in a positive sense. Their style is based on speaking and behaving like someone from the countryside, they like to transform words to sound rural. That's why the audience often laughs. They complement the absurdity with rare grammatical forms, archaisms and non-existent forms (the Polish language is very flexible). as others have already mentioned - extremely difficult for a foreigner.
There is a joke in Poland that little kids are nameing a priest a "Zorro" 😂. They say "I know it, when you were nameing "priest" a "Zorro"". For me the whole scene was very good, because I was undarstanding the word play 😂

I never watched this sketch in my life - as I don't really watch Polish cabarets - but I laughed like hell here. I'm not a fan of this one to be fair, I consider Neo Nówka to be one of the best modern polish cabarets, but this one is just too much mess to be funny. Don't worry Rob, I don't get it either 🤪 I like Neo-Nówka, but this one is waaaay to chaotic. Also, as someone has already mentioned, it's impossible to translate the word-play in this skit to foreign language. And yeah, you're right, when you think about it's amazing that such a religious country mocks priests so bad 😅 God has the greatest sense of humor, after all, he created it himself! 😁
First of all: they were talking around the subject the whole time; sometimes jumping subject but not that much. Second of all: It was, more or less, pre-planned "chaos" with some anchor points. As in, ad lib with preplanned ending. At least, that is my understanding to this type of comedy.
You understood about 30% of jokes there...sorry but it is super hard to translate such great humor deeply related to Polish only culture with so many references non-existing in English

This is a new version of an old Neonowka cabaret skit. Not very funny even for me, and I'm Polish and I love this cabaret. The primary version was much more funny. It was not so absurd and not based only on inflectional linguistic complexities. If I may suggest something to you, I suggest watching a few of Ireneusz Krosny skits. He's a mime, but very funny. And you don't have to worry about translating into Polish. For example this one: ruclips.net/video/xCtXX9iQkuw/видео.htmlsi=sOtV3AvBBaq7Trxy
The middle part is very similar to what you can hear in e.x. Ronnie Barker Mispronunciation Sketch. You cannot really translate it to any other language and you need very good english to even undestand what he's saying.
Whole "problem" is that most of that jokes are cultural-oriented or language-oriented and it can't be translated to English keeping the original sense of the joke. There's an American guy living in Częstochowa for several years now and even he doesn't get it fully even though he speaks pretty fluent Polish by now. Of course I'm not saying you shouldn't try - nor that's impossible for you to understand that. I'm just saying it's tough and don't feel bad if you don't get it. You would have to live here half of your life to fully understand all those jokes. This American guy I mentioned has a channel called "Love my Poland" - you can check it out if you like.
Seems like they booth want to break each other. I mean comedians, not characters. It looks like some kind of a bet, who will fail and burst laughing first.
Poor Rob, you got to see one of the most cringe-worthy sketches in the history of Polish cabaret... So chaotic. It almost seems that "the Sacristan" only had some rough idea as to where his lines should go and he was just filling them with word salad.
Ktoś ogarnięty w tłumaczeniu powinien dodać napisy do skeczu "Cela" w wykonaniu Ani Mru Mru z gościnnym udziałem Cezarego Pazury, wreszcie Rob miałby coś śmiesznego do oglądania
You must see Kabaret Nowaki: - Pani Krystyna, ksiądz i policjant/Mrs. Krystyna, a priest and a policeman - Biskup/Bishop - Krystyna u lekarza/Krystyna at the doctor - Janusz jedzie za granice/Janusz is going abroad
Widać u ciebie trochę niezrozumienia,a to dlatego, że część słów zastała tak jakby zapożyczona ze staropolszczyzny.Trzeba bardzo dobrze znać język polski, bo połowę z tego skeczu nie zrozumiesz i nie przetłumaczysz tak dokładnie na Angielski.:)
Translation is not good enough. *It is very raw.* All this skit is about words play. In English you can also do it but you need to know Polish and English fluently. *For instance:* In GB you can call a priest as *reverend* Smith. Here, *the verger distorts everything* so translation could be eg: *revenant* Smith - and this would reflect the spirit of this conversation.

Translating song titles to other (more world know) songs and changing surnames (Owsiak to Hendrix...) in translations is not a good idea.
Please react to Ani Mru Mru - List do Pipy 😄
Hi, watch "Wielkie Konflikty- Vader vs Imperator" 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Seems like they booth want to break each other. I mean comedians, not characters. It looks like some kind of a bet, who will fail and burst laughing first.
Please Watch Neonówka - Wigilia i Wigilia 2022
The translations are not 100% accurate sometimes
„Z” means Zorro not Radio Zet
Poor Rob, you got to see one of the most cringe-worthy sketches in the history of Polish cabaret... So chaotic. It almost seems that "the Sacristan" only had some rough idea as to where his lines should go and he was just filling them with word salad.
Ktoś ogarnięty w tłumaczeniu powinien dodać napisy do skeczu "Cela" w wykonaniu Ani Mru Mru z gościnnym udziałem Cezarego Pazury, wreszcie Rob miałby coś śmiesznego do oglądania
🤝👍siema👍🤝
so, will you try to catch me?I suspect you also run fast....
without knowing perfect Polish, Polish history and Polish slang, you have 0% chance of understanding (it shouldn't even be translated) best regards
Please record your reaction to the video: Wielkie Konflikty - odc.13 "Hitler vs Sąd Ostateczny".
It's hartd to be funny if you are not Polish because they play with the language for most of the time
There are people with no good language skills who miss facts have no good memory and they speak this way. For example Polish ski jumper: Piotr Żyła.
You said youre in Wroclaw but i still see you in your UK home. sus
I'm in Gdańsk but i did a few videos for while I'm away from home
@@RobReacts1 my bad
You must see Kabaret Nowaki:
- Pani Krystyna, ksiądz i policjant/Mrs. Krystyna, a priest and a policeman
- Biskup/Bishop
- Krystyna u lekarza/Krystyna at the doctor
- Janusz jedzie za granice/Janusz is going abroad
the translation is so bad
No Polish, no understand, sorry gregory 😂
Widać u ciebie trochę niezrozumienia,a to dlatego, że część słów zastała tak jakby zapożyczona ze staropolszczyzny.Trzeba bardzo dobrze znać język polski, bo połowę z tego skeczu nie zrozumiesz i nie przetłumaczysz tak dokładnie na Angielski.:)
This might a very hard for u... Really specyfy kind od joke
Seeing your reaction and fac I think you didn’t understand 50% :(
I prefer stand up 😅
It's simply untranslatable. Like a Polish President.
Sorry for that.
you chose the most chaotic cabaret on the Polish stage 😂 at some point they don't even use proper Polish - good luck trying to understand it 😆
