I did many of these as kid. I remember the plastic paint container that came with paint by number sets, It had individual round plastic containers that were all attached that looked kinda like grandpa's Medicine for the week container.
Those ceramic statues that you paint never included enough paint to do the job. You had to buy model paint to finish them. And the markers in those marker color sets always went dry before you did all the areas that needed them.
I’ve never seen one of those statues completed IRL. My great grandma used to paint these big Disney ceramic figures, but I don’t know where she got them. They were about a foot tall or so. Maybe a little bigger. I used to sniff the unpainted ceramic insides because they smelled like fancy dirt.
Wood burning kits? Oh, you mean the "Ow! I burned my f[bleep]ing finger!" kits! They also went by the name of "Ow! I stepped on a hot iron that I told those d*mn kids not to leave laying on the floor!" kits. That was the parent edition, iirc!
That Wonder Woman statue only comes with four colors yet I count 8 colors as needed to paint it to be like the picture. Notice that Luke is actually a Hoth rebel soldier. That's one of the ones I had and didn't have enough paint.
That looks like the Kenner Jabba! You need to put THAT on a shirt! That's badass! That JAWS 2 set was awsome. 🦈 Muppets Deliverance: Kirmet: " .. and SQUEEEL like a pig!" Thanks for the video
There was a there was a paint by number that John Wayne Gacy did to make it look like his own Pogo the Clown character. The art work ended up being used as an album cover "When the Kite String Pops" by a sludge metal band named Acid Bath. Jus' lettin' you know. :)
Acid Bath are so under rated , they melded so many styles of extreme music and it sounded coherent , takes a lot of talent to do that. The guitarist started the Black Metal band Goatwhore who are currently on tour in north america ( wish i could go)
@@zaiusbaltar7091 Yes, GREAT band, Acid Bath. Very organic sound also. They are trying to convince Dax into doing a reunion tour, but I doubt he will. That ticket would be well worth the price if they do end up doing it. :)
I had a Yoda paint by numbers statue that you didn't show in this video. It sat around for a long time and then i got my mom to paint it for me, since I knew I'd ruin it if I tried. Kids and paint don't mix!
Ok that Luke on tauntaun is sitting on my desk as is the unshown Yoda, That poster with the 3D Darth Vader is hanging in my basement (the 3D Vader helmet is made of punch out cardboard pieces which had to be assembled) Also hanging in my basement is an Empire Strikes Back paint by number Darth Vader in the carbon freezing chamber. Somewhere in my house is the first two shown in the video Star Wars posters, plus a similar Elvis Presley poster.
Lol..We used to do with a scissor hand thing at school.. look in there...👀 That's what a fanny looks like..😂 funny to know you was all doing that in Texas too. I wonder where else in the world people done this. ? 😆 🇺🇲 🇬🇧
@That Junkman No, no, no...That was "Pigs in Space"! Which was a recurring sketch from "The Muppet Show" that ran on CBS from 1976 to 1981. You were thinking of the movie "Muppets from Space" which came out in 1999. And is the sixth theatrical film featuring (the Muppets). Why would anyone want to buy a (Craft Master John Travolta Dual Poster Art Set) in 1978? Well, it may have had something to do with the fact that "John Travolta" became a teen idol following the debut of the TV series {Welcome Back, Kotter} in 1975. And following the success of the movie "Saturday Night Fever" in 1977. Which elevated him to much greater stardom. Also if you were a "Dad in the closet" in 1978? You woud be far more reluctant to come out. Because of the much higher degree of intolerance towards Homosexuals. If I had a "Time Machine"? I would like to go back to the 1970s, but only to visit. I certainly wouldn't want to stay there! And ''Buck Rogers'' has always been in the 25th Century. Ever since he first appeared in the science fiction Pulp magazine "Amazing Stories" from August of 1928.
When I was 7 I received the E.T. figurine you had to paint as a gift. I painted it and it looked like shit. I had it for a few years and have no idea whatever happened to it.

You dialed and my phone started ringing. I thought the Junkman had my phone number!!
Don't forget about those wood burning kits from the late 70s early 80s.

Great episode! I forgot all about craft masters sets. Went on eBay and bought one from 1973. Thanks JM!
What you get
Also love ❤️ the phone 📞 rotary phone’s had cool mechanics the old ones actually had 2 bells 🔔 inside and a striker on a electro magnet 🧲
Weather ya like paint by # or not this episode was funny as hell.
Always my task to make a boring topic fun

I had instructions how to mix colors to get what you needed

Awesome video man! I really look forward to your videos at the end of my day.
And the hat 🎩 with the expression on your face in the thumbnail just says it all hahaha 🤣

Is it me, or does that E.T. at 2:08 look rather wicked?

There were a couple of good ones, like Jaws 2 and Star Wars 3D. I'd have messed up the coloring. It also doesn't help that I'm colorblind.
Hey Junkman, could you look at stupid action figure REPAINTS? Or weird action figure paintjobs like the purple NES Batman?

Dad and I painted the Yoda figurine (statue)
I had a lot of generic pictures like this to paint and color as a kid like dogs and cars, stuff like that.
Hey Junkman, I watched !
So you should do a video on the different Toy Jeeps. I mean gay toys made some.I know how much you like gay toy company
When I was 7 I received the E.T. figurine you had to paint as a gift. I painted it and it looked like shit. I had it for a few years and have no idea whatever happened to it.
I sucked at paint by numbers.
Shazbot junkman
I still have mork suspenders from when I was a kid they don’t fit but they’re to cool 😎 to chuck in the bin.
The beret was a nice touch !
I remember these hated them
