Franconia-Springfield is one of two metro stations with Omniride Metro Express that run all day from close to DC to Prince William County the other is Tysons; there is also connections to the VRE commuter rail and Amtrak intercity rail. Also on the Orange Line between EFC and Vienna, that is the other highway I mentioned the Metro traverses along, I-66, the being VA-267 on the Silver Line .
I'm not sure of any Amtrak trains that stop at Frankonia. They do stop at the nearby Alexandria station, King Street, Old Town on the Blue and Yellow lines, plus Quantico and Fredriksburg on the VRE Fredriksburg line. I remember my first trip on the Omniride buses from Quantico. That was back when there was a platform improvement project closing all stations on the Blue and Yellow lines south of Reagan Airport, so we had to take a bus to Pentagon to catch the train. 2019, if memory serves me.
No reason not to. Our economy is going to get a lot better. all of the fear mongering of the left is just that. I’m glad I live in trumps America and not true does Canada.
Nice walk around, thanks for sharing.👍8 from a new friend

@@TheHighRiseElevatorLover You're right, Amtrak used to serve the station from 2003-2010. I just looked it up on Wikipedia.
Have you’ve checked out the Tyson’s galleria when you’re in dc?
The only malls that I'm aware in America is Mall of America & American Dream Meadowlands. I wasn't aware of this one.
@ I see thanks for telling me.
Do you still plan to travel to the US now that Donald Trump has won the 2024 presidential race?

Why wouldn't I?
@ just asking. what’s your reaction when Trump won? Also have you’ve checked out the Tyson’s galleria when you’re in dc?
