I have been a self employed plumber since 2001. The first 4 year's I had 9 employees, including myself with full page Verizon yellow page adds in 2 separate but close by cities in and near Syracuse NY. When the yellow pages DIED around 2008 it has been just myself and a apprentice. (When they get a year or 2 experience I usually help get them in the local Plumbers union). How can I get my plumbing operation back to 9 plumber's and 10 new or almost new Vans, utility trucks, box truck, pick-up with bins on top of side's of cargo bed and large tuff box. And of course 1 medium Dump truck (F-550 diesel dually/ still have it, oldie but goodie, 30,000 miles and 16 years old) and of course 2 backhoes (1large, 1 small). How do I get back to 9 employees? What kind of advertisement will be as effective as the Yellow pages were for me for around 8 years? I am still working off the customer base I built when I had the full page yellow pages adds for around 6 years. That was over 12 years ago.

Not what company makes, its what its able to retain/keep , post-after overhead. Some states hold very little if sny worthness to initiate, let alone with owners, employees working full time, head above water, straw for oxygen, body below water example. Not once was essential wording mentioned prior to covid arrival, post covid #2 essential list, considered very important, post after covid, directly back within never hear, and-or view essential.

If you need a coach to grow your business maybee you should reconsider being in bussiness the internet has brought you more knowledge at your disposal then any other human has ever possed and you want some guy that has a million dollar compay to explain basic concepts to you and pay him for it lol bro everything is free stop being so lazy read watch some videos watch what other industries are doing.

Your arguments aren’t really strong in regards to the 600 bucks ... 2h ours job and you wanna tip off a customer ? You may do it ones or twice but let me tell you not long and people won’t use you again.

Most plumbing businesses don't realize what a 2 hour job is costing them. Some plumbers end up losing money on jobs because they don't charge enough.
