Simply the best. One of my favorite ballads from Rick Astley. The most underrated and forgotten single in 1991. Every time I hear this song, it just brings me back to that time -- it was such a coming-of-age moment for me; and I'm so glad his music was the backdrop soundtrack of that chapter of my life.
Forgotten? I remember this one being in heavy rotation back then a lot. And it's often used in tv shows. I mean, Never Gonna Give You Up is very popular because of the meme, but everyone that grew up in the 80s remembers a bunch of other Rick Astley's songs. Maybe they can't immediately link them to the singer, but they definetely remember them.
