Ibn Sina wrote many books on various scientific branches, many of which are on philosophy, religion, music, medicine, astronomy, physics, and natural sciences. Some sources state that the number of books he has written is over 240; 153 of these have been discovered. Among his valuable books, the two most well-known books are "al-Shifa", which deals mostly with philosophy, and the five-volume "al-Qanun Fi al-Tibb", which is a complete medical encyclopedia. The Little Qanun is a cut down version you can also read

Iqbal wrote : Zindagaani Hai Sadaf, Qatra-e-Neesan Hai Khudi Woh Sadaf Kya Ke Jo Qatre Ko Guhar Kar Na Sake Or have read Rumi or Fariduddin Attar’s Mantiq e Tayr. Of course Mantiq e Tayr is about a spiritual journey manifested as physical effort and loses and old school of anti Sharia finaFillah, but provides the basic ingredients of self discovery. That know thyself. After a journey the hero returns home or to himself. Also goes back to the Sumerian epic of Gilgamesh.
