16:49 lmao actually sounds dope
I really enjoyed watching this. Your videos are great Ray. Looking forward to more!
I have never been this early for anything holy shit. Thanks for helping me take my projects from dollar store quality to Soundcloud rapper quality, keep the content coming :)
You inspired us buddy! Keep doing good music! ❤❤❤
This is gonna be really helpful! I'll try to keep some of these sound design methods in mind next time I'm producing.
You are one of the best on EDM scene. So natural, funny and you stuff are brilliant. Thanks Ray❤️! Waiting for more 🕺🏼.
You explain music so well. I use Fl studio but i am still watching your videos because i can learn a lot from them.
Great breakdown!
yo, thanks for this content ! i appreciate it
Very helpful. Cool to see the in's and out's of how you process your tracks and what all sounds you layer to get your final product!
You're amazing, and you motivate me, thank you❤
Ray, as asked. You are super duper great and I love these tutorials.
Thanks for this! "On My Own" next please, it's on of my favorite songs ever!🔥🙏
quick tip: you can right-click corpus(or any audio effect in Ableton) and set its current state to default because we all hate that ringing bell
I love this song so much! Hope you do a breakdown of Insane next!
make more of these please!
Should do a vocal processing tutorial! I love the way all your vocals sound.
wow dude, your video editing skills are amazing
How have I not been subscribed to you 🔥👏
Thanks a lot ray !!!
17:57 Excision - Oxygen (i felt that what u said)
dope dope bro !
I’m just happy to be here
THANK YOU RAY VOLPE GOOD VIDEO
i think your tutorials/explanations are very concise. Also its throwing me off how professional you seem despite your online persona lol
homie got the jack u snare saved in the side bar
waiting for this tbh
Hey Uncle Ray, I really enjoy these production demonstrations! I like your melodic approach to this genre and I also appreciate your genuine personality. I sincerely want to learn this dance you're doing at the end. Did you take lessons?
Having to face down technical stuff right off the bat definitely hindered my growth as a music producer for a very long time, and it still does today, to an extent. It's very easy for producers to fall into the delusions of "good sound=engineering degree" and "the easy way=terrible sounds".
It has proven to be immensely difficult for me as a producer to create any music that sounds good, has some lasting substance to it, AND was fun to produce. I don't know if my brain has just been stuck in neutral gear for a long time or what, but the system has, as of yet, remained obscured to me. Every time I try to wing it, I do something I'm not terribly happy with and a fuse in my brain gets fried, dooming my project file to swift deletion. I have been running this gauntlet for several years now, ending up back at square one no matter what I do. I want to produce electronic music, but something within that pink-ish mass of neurons between my ears is keeping me from reaching that sort of artistic self-actualization. Has anyone else ever felt this sort of subconscious hindrance before? What would be some good ways to get out of it?
came for the tips. stayed for the vfx
Nice! Can I suggest some songs you should play at your sets?
Gem 💎❣️
RAY VOLPEさん 解説ありがとうございます!
Mind Gamesが一番お気に入りの曲です!
I wouldnt mind seeing more in depth on how you make your vocals on some other songs too. Also how you master !
your music is awesome.
Yo Ray, how long have you been using Ableton and do you have any tips for someone who is new to it trying to make EDM?
Attention. Delivered.
We've seen on instagram with friend your stories :D how the fck long was you editing this video? xD It's awesome
Do you plan on breaking down Insane? I wonder what was going through your head when you made that 13 second "pause" before the 2nd drop. Actually, what is it called when the drop drops but the drums don't kick in right away?
a fake-out drop
A fakeout
It would be awesome if you could go over the vocal processing some more but this was a great video. Thank you!
Would love to see the VOCAL TUTORIAL!
13:00 even before watching this video I was able to synthesize a very similar sounding timbre in Vital and even in the SubSynth of Caustic 3. In Caustic it didn't get the result I wanted but it was satisfactory producing in a Mobile DAW, until it was good..I'm a big fan and I love the timbre it creates, I find it sick and as much as I want to have my own identity and sound, I expel myself a lot from its sounds
"After the first drop, thats all I really had" - thank you for making me not feel like a POS ending my songs after the first drop.
Thanks bro for the tutorial
What software is that? I use garage band for the music I make. and how do you distort your voice so much? I have a vox with my software but I never use it. I am not confident enough to use my voice much.
I'm excited to be this early
11:24 fucking love that pattern
Ray Your Music has completely grabbed my attention. You are my absolute favorite artist! keep PWNing the game!
Thanks dad.
Niceee♡♡♡
Mr.Volpe Bro tell us how you mix and master plz.
What's the next steps after you're done with this project, until the final version is out on the streaming services? Do you export stems and mix in a new project? send it off to mastering? Would love some insight here!
i mix it down as i produce inside that project. my mix is mainly leveling like i say in the vid, and my master chain is on. so after i bounce i just car test it and reference other speakers then i send to distribution for streaming services or the label etc!
🤘🤘
✌
Ufff brother, thank you for this tutorial, how little I learn from here I put into practice in fl mobile, is not the same but that can be done with the limits of Latin America😞👌... Best regards from Mexico uwu
ray is cool
Next video- Ray Volpe Breaksdown
Fuck that’s insane bro
I know this video is long before it but... what was it like working with Marshmello? What was the process like?
can someone explain the concept of his 6db kick and 2db snare

It’s definitely a party.
How do all these high pitched frequencies not hurt your ears? My songs always lack in the high end, but If I leave it in it hurts my ears
more your great by the way can you hook it up with Ableton I need it

@@rayvolpe love you brotha I was just kidding someday I can afford I was using the 90 day free trial but it ran out. But learned so much from it. Definitely my main daw once I get. But yeah love your music hope one day me and you could possibly collaborate. You’re a big inspiration to me alongside with sonny John Moore or skrillex. Also over my head is a really good record too thank you so much for the knowledge. I could soak up as much production tips as I can. Thank you ray volpe.

Thank you VOLPRETRON
What about the filler vocals Excision played in the Evolution Tour.
that was just a placeholder vocal from one of my favorite uffie songs "your hood" :)
@@rayvolpe Can you release (or free download...) the 2019 instrumental version with/or without the uffe vocals.
@@rayvolpe Been a year and i've given up waiting. I'll do it myself. Don't get me wrong I like the released version its just (in my opinion) the your hood vocals feel more natural to me.

Ray. No... I.m not gonna ask you for EQ... Please go more with bass processing and stereo information. thank you.
His music is way better than mine but his projects are just as messy as mine
2:51 what the fuck are those fingers (oh my god don't look at the pinky)
