Cedar Point with Kids (first time on Rollercoasters!)

- My friend and I went to Cedar Point with our kids and we rode the coasters there for the first time with them.
This was all done before Halloweekends had started, but it should give some insight into what your kids may enjoy doing at Cedar Point when you come either for halloweekends or in the 2022 season!
Either way, we came on a great day! The crowds were low and the rides were fast and we were able to do a ton. I also might've pushed my daughter just a bit too far this day, so cautionary tales may be included in this video.

Gemini has a short line compared to Pipe Scream because it is a people eater that usually runs 4 trains total, 2 at a time while pipe scream can only run the one ride at a time.
I had backrow on Blue Streek with a two-click lapbar.
Got even crazier airtime than I did on my Steel Vengeance ride! Crazy stuff. Had so much room to lift out of my seat!

Tell your Daughter Happy Birthday!! I’m also very proud of her for riding the Big Coasters!! I hope she continues to ride then with you. I rode Blue Streak when I was 8 and I was hooked!! Proud of the boys too!! It’s good to see the young ones riding! Maybe I will see you over Halloween Weekend. Can’t wait!!

I would've loved to grow up with Cedar Point!! I rode Steel Vengeance opening year and adored it! I didn't enjoy roller coasters until age 8 and began doing the bigger ones at 12, so I envy your daughter for starting at age 7, let alone with MILLENNIUM FORCE!! I understand how it's too much for someone that young. It took me awhile to get used to airtime personally. I had trouble even handling The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at DCA at age 11. I was the happiest person when I found myself enjoying some of the rides that used to scare me. It reassured me that I could ride all of the record-breaking coasters without fear if I put my mind to it. :)
It's also advantageous for coaster enthusiasts to have kids. It means more credits since some kiddie coasters don't let you on if you're not with kids. I learned that the hard way when I went to Kings Island and got a bit greedy about my credits and tried to ride The Great Pumpkin Coaster only to be told I couldn't LOL.

The reason alot of those flat rides have longer rides than alot of lower tier coasters is because there are alot of people who don't rude coasters and most people who ride coasters are going for the elite tier coasters.

Wow i remember taking my Oldest when she turned 6, she was tall enough for Millennium Force, and she has loved coasters ever since we will ALWAYS remember that day as father and daughter! I'm so happy you can also have that amazing memory with your princess....Hope to see you this weekend or next at CP, we were there Sunday the 9th, we look for you always 😂 it was very crowded and full of speculation about why WT is still in place and what is going to be the next Coaster built @CP.... Gemini is a high capacity ride, it's as if it has 4 trains in operation where Pipe Scream is only 1 (and its not a coaster although the park says it is). Mostly capacity, operations, and where the crowds are I guess
Blue car on Corcksrew seems to be the least rough, at least in the back. Not sure if the kids would want back row for their first ride though. I thought Red in front third was not as good...It's also possible the rain helped as I rode blue train (which was the only train on) on August 16. Gemini and Magnum ride night that? you needed to have been there to see the energy

When you were at Cedar Point on Thursday for Halloweekends, there was an empty line for Steel Vengeance, from what you posted from youtube shorts. How long did you wait for it?
It was a straight walk back to the lockers. Probably 5 minutes after the lockers.
yep the bonus weekend is a good time to ride and they have a couple preview shows. I sold one of those wicked twister buttons on ebay to a gentleman in michigan for $50 he's visited for 52 consecutive seasons and 200 parks CP is his favorite. he rode WT but couldn't make it on that day. I threw in 2 park maps the last time with WT on it. did the b-day girl name her stuffed pony? tell her it's ok to rename it if she if she changes her mind and wants to lol she won't name it millennium blue streak but that would be a cool name ; ) I saw pipe scream valley in between the hills it actually got stuck. I put up a vid of the witch sisters she might like them. they also tell a story. I have those form last season. they both have kids audience participation.
I heard about pipe scream getting stuck! I wanna know how they fixed that! We got to experience the witch sisters last time we were there. That video will be out soon!!
How many places have for kids to ride I have 2 kids small 3 years and 6..and 10 years old...they Have many to ride? How much cost
Kids still cost a normal ticket unless you buy the gold or platinum pass and then add the preschool pass for it.
For 6 and 10 year olds, this video will show a lot of what they can do.
For the 3 year old, there are three kids areas with lots of slow moving spinning rides for kids. Different kinds of “vehicles” move around a circle.
There are also dump trucks and a train on a track that are fun.
Of course, even the youngest kids can ride rides like the carousel, the sky ride, Cadillac cars and, often, even the scrambler.
One warning: if you wanted to do the preschool pass, you have to sign up early for it (within the first couple weeks of the year) and you have to do it at the park and your preschooler has to be present.
