- Today I show you how it is to live in the province. No WiFi, no plumbing, sometimes no electricity, just the peace and the quiet (unless you're counting the roosters that wake you up every morning at 4 and never seen to stop) I leave the city of Cebu and head to the province of Toledo. I drive thru all types of scenery and roads, some I barely make thru. My poor bike. When I first arrive we go fetch water from the well for my much needed bath. After my Filipino style bath I take a hike thru the mountain side and meet all sorts of characters, mostly goats, cows, pigs, dogs but also a few very entertaining humans. I find two locals cutting down a tree with a machete so I stop and help. Two of the coolest dudes I ever met. So far I'm loving the province life.

While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. Try to talk to the locals with very easy English Sir. Speak it slowly so that they will understand it easily. Cebuanos would like to talk with the foreigners. Cebuanos are so friendly. They always smile at you. Thats a Cebuano hospitality. #promise :)

I lived in Pardo, Cebu City for 6 yrs. i attended grade school for 2 yrs at Holy Rosary School of Pardo. We used to visit Toledo city with my step father and relatives, they hunted Philippine Deer.

I love that kind of province life.. the fresh air, simple life and more likely fresh fruits and veggies are abundant in the area.
My wife and I live in the States in Kansas. we know a nice lady and her daughter in the phillipines. she lives in BOHOL....we have been helping her for about 3 years now...she is like FAMILY to us. so...a typhoon came along and blew her house away...so...now we are sending her money to get a new house built. bless her heart....she works very hard to support her daughter by washing clothes in the river. she's so happy we are building her a new home. just thought i might reach out to you....I like your videos. great job.

Dustin, do you have videos of spider fighting? One of my favorite hobbies growing up. I’m from Cebu City. I’m showing your videos to my 8-year old daughter. People usually walk in the jungle for a purpose like to hunt or looking for jungle produce...your answer probably baffled them- i am exercising😂😂😂😂😂 love how beautiful Toledo is and the pig,cow and even the goats are friendly. I want to visit Toledo one day....respect you bro. I would have given up if i see jungle while on my motorbike...but you just plow through and discover hidden gems for us😍
