- The news that came out recently about new developments of the Provincial Government Center (Capitol Building) to be constructed (Provincial Seat of Power Transfer) in Balamban made me decide to travel to Balamban. To make my trip worthwhile and since I have been to Balamban a few months ago via Transcentral Highway, I decided to take the Naga-Toledo road to reach Balamban. I will also have the opportunity to explore Toledo a little further than my previous visits to this City in Western Cebu.
I left Mandaue early in the morning around 4:50AM and headed straight to Naga and all the way to Toledo. I manage to visit Toledo City Hall, Port, Plaza and of course their popular St. John of Sahagun Parish before indulging myself to a native chicken stew.
After I filled myself with energy-packed food, I headed straight to next town of Balamban. Mainly to locate, see and discover the exact spot or site where the Capitol is planned to be constructed. I had this urged to know where in Balamban or what barangay in Balamban will this New Provincial Government Center is drafted to rise. And because I am very patient and so adventurous, I finally made it to the site where I saw a massive land works underway.

What makes Cebu different from the rest of the Philippines is that it is trying to decentralized and spread its progress.. While other places in PH wants to hoard it's progress into one "central" place only, Cebu is doing the opposite..
