You should make a step-by-step tutorial on Claude Artifacts and Claude Projects and their features. I'd pay to get access to the tutorial as long as you explain it as if you are teaching a class of 5-year-olds
Projects are a game changer for me as a developer. I upload relevant files from my code projects as context for changes or new features I ask Claude to help with. Artifacts market super easy to update or add new files to the project.
If you've made changes to the files that have been uploaded, do you need to reupload the file? (like delete the existing one and upload the newest one) What's the different between add the files as project resource and directly copy pasting the code in the chat dialog?
@@guntarionif Claude updates or creates a file as an artifact, you can add it to the project. Sometimes you do have to delete and upload files again. I find that it’s much easier than pasting in the content of multiple files it might need to reference. I used to keep super long ChatGPT chats around for the context I had given them but the chats became very slow and unmanageable. Projects also lets you create shorter more focused chats but keeps them connected to the project if you have to go back.
@@Imjoshnewtondo you have to tell Claude you've updated the file/s in the project? I was using the Projects feature for the first time last night and I wasn't sure if he was always referencing the up to date data I uploaded to him. (I am using one file created by repopack - a tool for creating a single file that describes a codebase)
Clarify please: Once Claude develops a chart etc. How do you enter your own data? Do you need to prompt Claude and tell it to recreate "Chart" using this data? Or is the Artifact self standing and you update the data a different way?
You could ask Claude to adjust the data relevant to a pdf file you have uploaded to it. Or just type the date yourself and ask Claude to adjust it. Or finally, you can go into the code tab and just edit the syntax yourself.
So an artifact is a bit like a development environment to create a web page or a simple app. You have to be really careful in using this feature though if you wish to use the output of such commands to Claude without going over and verifying in appropriate detail the underlying code for the artifact because Claude may simply be creating underlying code just to produce the desired output or even be using data or specs different than you have specified or intended to, i.e. hallucinate. I think the best is to use artifacts only as starting points or templates for code that will underline a web page or some other app.
As someone who is unfamiliar with claude's offerings, I wish you had compared projects+artifacts to customGPTs too. I am a teacher and I made a GPT as an assistant for my course- the GPT knows all the course materials, policies, etc and can answer students' questions, guide them through problems and so on. This is possible because the custom GPT comes with the knowledge I give it, it brings its own "intelligence" and the student prompts it for useful answers. The output is not set, it is created based on the request. And since using GPTs is free, it's viable for schools. I never tried Claude because the projects were not freely distributable, but does the artifacts being public now mean that something similar can be done with Claude too? Or since the artifacts package the output, are they not as flexible as a custom GPT in helping students answer various questions? Are they useful only when the user is interested in the output that you have, with the same inputs? In other words, when the output is not known ahead of time but the inputs and mechanism (intelligence) are, can artifacts provide a similar service? Or are the gpts and artifacts really different in how they work?
I have a different video about that. To keep videos to 10 minutes, I have to focus on just the topic at hand. here is the link to the other video. ruclips.net/video/AtttXmsZx6M/видео.html
Very interesting info and demos, Saj. I don't fully understand the actual purpose of Artifacts. Are they only functional in Claude, or can we add them to, or embed them in, a website? Like, I have a business website with a members area behind a pay wall. In the members area, they have access to a bunch of spreadsheets I create with content topics for different niches. After watching your case studies, I was thinking that, instead of having a bunch of spreadsheets for different niches and dates, it would be cool to have an Artifact that accesses a single spreadsheet, with all of the different niches and upload dates inside. I would add rows (content topics) to the spreadsheet multiple times throughout each month, and they could use the Artifact to select their niche, upload date, etc. But I don't know if it's possible to add/embed these Artifacts into a web page. Any guidance or advice would be really appreciated! Thanks!
Adding it to your website is a lot more technical but possible. Right now, they are meant to be shared on the Claude URL. So you can link to them on your website but not embed them
Thank you for the vidéo ! One question, after publishing an artificat like to do list generator show in the vidéo, is it possible to save the to do lists created or is it just a visualisation link
You have to leave the web link open I think for it to remain saved. But I’m making a video about publishing this using another tool called Replit which will then save everything
U kadoo dat. Dats wut u kadoo. U kadoo dat ding dat is like Microsoft tadoo. Yup, wit Claude, u kadoo dat! 🎉Amazing! Now, go do dat ding! Great stuff! 🙏🏻
When do you think these models (Claude, chatgpt,Gemini, etc.) will be able to easily connect to enterprise databases like HR, Payroll, Financials, etc. so an authenticated user can just ask “How many hours did Jane Doe work last month” and it will generate the correct answer.
I think the connected part is around the corner. The correct answer part is a bit more tricky. Large language models have a fundamental problem when it comes to accuracy. I don’t see that getting fixed in the short term
Do you have any idea how i can get very highl limits, because i have 3 accounts one of them on tier 2 and i keep reaching the daily limit of token usage spicialy when the conversation build up its consuming 100,000 tokens per request!!
Now, if only Claude would be open to new accounts. Been trying to get an account and pay for it... for well over 2 months now. Their support is not reacting either.

@@Imjoshnewton Thank you. Now the challenge is that one cannot use Claude continuously, since there's limit of usage.
@@joewethI usually start a new chat after updating files. Also, because Claude always likes to tell me that long chats burn through usage faster.

for me claude 3.5 is as switching from GPT3.5 to GPT4 - at the moment the best LMM
Yea it’s awesome
Will check it out thank you.

How did you create that custom GPT? Would love to do something like you describe! Anything you can share?
People should give big-agi client a try. It has a Beam functionality that prompts to multiple LLMs

You should be able to use sonnet for free. It’s just limited usage

You can run prompts inside of the Claude console which connect to the api. But it doesn’t have artifact or any of the other Claude functions
Is Claude's membership for your video paid or free?
I want Claude ai pro really bad to use projects but my Visa card got rejected 😢
