I have watched several videos on RUclips for Google NotebookLM , but, this Video is the best of the best as of now. Very useful content and practical presentation of the usage knowledge with "Use Cases". Excellent. Thank you.🎉🎉
I am just starting out in this, and have gone through dozens of videos on NotebookLM, and they usually fly through explanations, and did not explain how this tool works with other tools, that seems to be the real strength here. I mean, compiling data from a myriad of sources all good and all, but usually that's all other videos show.
1. Summarize documents (PDFs, Google Docs, etc.) 2. Create study guides and outlines 3. Generate timelines from historical content 4. Analyze RUclips videos with transcription 5. Combine up to 50 sources in one notebook 6. Translate summaries into other languages 7. Process and organize voice notes 8. Summarize conference call recordings 9. Digest entire books into briefings 10. Generate AI-powered podcasts 11. Edit and customize AI audio 12. Create videos from AI-generated prompts
If you want that podcast, you can ask for it in the language you want and although there are times when it still does it in English, it ends up showing it in the language you want, such as Spanish. Incredible
i can just see an eventual consolidation phase where the bigs start gobbling up features they don't want to build out. the fact that i see you say "go here to change audio voice, there for outputting a nice timeline, etc." are signs of just niche 'features' or in this case, 'models/agents' either waiting to be built out or bought.
using Descript and 11 labs is a good idea, but the NotebookLM voices are the most natural sounding voices ever, you can hear them take a breath, and human sounding intonation, nothing matches their voices. The voices have emotion, I tried 11 labs and their voices are quite emotion sounding as the NotebookLM voices.
@@quantumaquarius Correct. I'm saying Descript is using 11-labs tech, so while they aren't as tunable as 11-labs, it seems a bit silly to paste *from* descript *to* 11-labs, because you can get decent readings directly in descript.
This mindboggling giant of an online tool just casually turns around the corner like any other AI-thingy these days. Three years ago it would have let every single computer literate gone completely bananas. 😮
Controversial opinion: I think NotebookLM might actually be more useful than ChatGPT for certain tasks. The ability to mix and match sources is unmatched. What do you guys think?
Woah! Wow! Boggled! I typically don't trust the word Epic in a headline/ description but this one was an understatement. Now I'm looking forward to the sequel "12 more NotebookLM Epic Use cases" :p
Great presentation ! What software do you use to make this excelente presentation? It allows you to appear in a small circle at the same time that you show the presentation. You also have great audio. What microphone do you use ?
Oh, wow. Looks like a real helper when you want to learn new stuff. And that generated speech sounds better than some of the audiobooks or youtubers. Wow.
Great video as always - many thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have ended up with Prompts from all over the place - any tips on how you organize your prompts & where you access your library. My number of prompts, copy & pasted from everywhere, are now out of control 😂
I love NBLM's quality and I'm eager to create my channel using it, but the problem is the only 2 voices. In my case, paying for third services to change them doesn't make sense, once I'd pay bfr making any money and there's a huge convertion rate to my local money. Hope there's a free way to do that or they offer a more complete payed version in the near future, as I suspect. Please, keep us uptodate first hand.
I also am curious what kinds of results folks are getting with conversing with a zoom calls content. I’ve seen gong and zoom have native AI components that let you do something like this. The thing I’m excited to test is notebook lm seems like you could impose a point of view or an overlay onto the convo. Meaning you could ask to sus out all parts of the convo that further a particular agenda.
Would this work in the setting of a board meeting for an HOA where there’s five members and a manager and we’re talking for an hour or two? Would it pick up the different voices and recognize them as a different person when it converts it to Text? If so, what would you recommend as the device to record the meeting?
1) Is there a way we can upload a video as a source, and AI uses the info to make us the notes? 2) also can we use it as a note-taker, that can access our cameras and actually record videos or lectures, plus connecting with Zoom or other meeting apps? That would be great.😊
No one seems to know the answer to this question: Is there a way to load several sources in a notebook, ask a question and make a podcast out of that one answer (Note)? I even tried saving that answer into a Note then made that Note its own source, then made only that source active, but could find no way to create a podcast out of that single active source. I want to make several shorter podcasts from the many sources in my Notebook, not one long podcast. If anyone even knows if this is possible, I would appreciate the steps to do. Thanks in advance.

I like the film burn transition you use. Would you be willing to share it? (I use Davinci) Thanks for the video, very interesting as always. I just discovered Runway yesterday from one of your videos. I thought it was amazing how it can bring to live an existing image. P.S. Do you know Kling AI? It's I believe from China and does the same thing as Runway does (I used image to video), but it did it even better for me, quite significantly so even - and it's cheaper.
Hey. Thanks for the video. One question though; Why can't we change model of Notebook LM? As I want to select best model with it; Wouldn't it be better to select an experimental (more advanced model)?
Hi, I'm trying to download the free promptbook. I've tried using 2 different email addresses, but it'll end up saying "Sorry, unable to open the file at this time.". May I know if there is any other way I can get a copy? Thanks. :)

The only thing i dont like is you cant copy and paste notes once they are in the notebook. I wanted a prompt i had put in there and couldn't copy it again

Interesting it's amazing stuff for sure I love notebook lol I can't wait to see where it goes in the next 6 months but the workflows now are pretty clunky not too much set and forget and you're getting some serious AI tool sprawl to get anything real done.
