Another good video putting the piston in really does need a ring compressor but if there is not one available i have used a empty alluminium drink can if you cut the top and bottom off and slit it through the middle put the alluminium sheet inside the bore about 3 cm then push the piston in i replaced seals on a nitrogen accumulator using this method keep up the good work and demonstrations 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That block/housing looked brand new, piston/rings also, very nice :-D The only part i would have taken more time with is refitting of the crank, i would never use a metal hammer on the shaft, the bearing in the crank case could get damaged. Shame he didn't have something to compress the piston rings, it would have gone in with less force, but using plastic is safe :-D With care that engine should last a loooooong time. Have you ever rebuilt an engine like this jahan?

Everything reassembled as supposed to be, I hope. Now the engine rotates normally with power from battery, but not starting. Can you please advise me what could be the possible failures for this, as locally cannot be fixed further and I want to make that engine work again. Thanks in advance for you support.
Dear friend there are three thing a must to start a diesel engine. Fuel, compression and timing. Check all four item should be there and should be corrected to get the engine started. They should look for tappets adjustment. Too loose or too tight tappets can be a cause of no start. Everything you must double check to get you engine back to life. Yes on the top of valves there are tappets wich has a gap like 0.2mm on intake and 0.3mm on exhaust side for most Toyota gas engines. For your particular you can use these figures for reference or ask some specialist. That gap is critical and must be adjusted with care. Also give attention to fuel and timing issues as sometimes they are also very important. Regards,
LearningZone dear Sir, using the electric starter we managed to start the engine, but after 10-15 seconds stops. Is it fuel injector (new part) or Fuel pump problem. Checked both and found that fuel injector wasn't work as should. Reassemble it by the technician and engine worked as expected.

Whan I start the generator it gives pulses and the lights of the whole house becomes full and dim full and dim due to engine pulsing like the kirloskar engine sounds while idling. Waiting for yr reply. Where can be the mistake 1.generator motor 2.governor or 3.carburetor. Please I need this machine as the rain month is coming soon.
If this engine has a spark plug and carburetor in it, you can run it on Petrol with very few carburetor fuel and and air adjustments to optimize the engine performance and running. If this is engine of Diesel build without spark plug then it could be way too difficult to modify it from karocine oil to Petrol.
@@JahanZeb1976 Sir, it has got carburetor and a spark plug. it has got two tanks one is petrol and another tank is kerosene. Generator starts by petrol and rest it is run by kerosene. Now, if i fill petrol in kerosene tank replacing kerosene will it run?? Will i get a benefit in mileage??
@@jyotirmoy2189 sure it would run. As both engines are the same for both fuels. They had given provision for kerocene oil as it was less expensive than patrol in old days. But it is not true today here. You may need little carb adjustments to make your engine better in Petrol. Wish you good luck with your modification.

i fitted lpg gas kit in my 1800wats generator... ur prevoius video of how to clean generator lpg kit also helped me....

in my region mechanichs have no concept of using rubber or wood malet. for hammering they only prefer metal hammer due to lack of knowledge and

It could be a bad governor or carburetor also. First you may tune up the carb.
