He did his best to facilitate Gabriel's two offensive headers, because in both cases he was seen blocking Gvardiol to leave his teammate free to strike.
I’m sorry, but his pace and strength is absolutely insane. Did you see that first tackle that amazing goal? This kid might be a force to be reckoned with
The last time we had a defense like this was when we had the invincibles. That defense is a rock including the subs now. Once we get another solid left back and a striker we close shop.
Arteta must stop trying to appease England / English fans and bench Ben White. Arsenal's most balanced and complete starting back four IS Riccardo Calafiori at LB, Gabriel Magalhães at LCB, William Saliba at RCB and Jurrien Timber at RB.
No need. You use all of them interchangeably. It seems unthinkable at the moment, but I can see Ricky C. spelling Big Gabi at LCB for certain games. What is still to be seen is whether he and Timber can play together on the same side of the pitch.
@@Azabaxe80 To get the best from your team, there must be "balance", "trust" and "chemistry" bro. Of which only happens when the team is constant. You don't interchange when it's not needed.
@@LoonieGoon3r Normally I would agree with the gist of your statement. In fact, last season's stability at the back is what established The Arsenal as the team with the best defense in the league. But that was because neither Gabriel nor Saliba got injured. Saliba played 38 90 minute league matches last season. That is unsustainable. And yet, look who won the league. M115 is team with interchangeable, adaptable players who are chosen depending the assignment at hand, and most importantly, are usually available at the defining end of the season. So, yes, trust, balance and chemistry are absolutely essential to any team's success (and this applies in real life, not just football), but interoperability and choice amplifies those chances of success. One thing I wanted to add to my last post but didn't think it was necessary, was how I wish Arsenal would sign Yann Bisseck from Inter. Just so Saliba has someone to challenge him, or replace him. It's not change for the sake of change. It's adapting ahead of having your hand forced.
@@Azabaxe80 I get you. I like Yann Bisseck too. We need a proper #9 to complete this team. I know Kai Havertz has been doing the job but he is not an all out 9. I wished we had gotten Viktor Gyökeres.
When Kieran Tierney is finally off the books, he's taking over the #3 shirt. Fitting for the potential heir to the coolest Italian #3 ever.
Nah I think he likes to play in 33 because he had that in bolonga and bazel too
This guy is going to be A BEAST in this ARSENAL TEAM MARK IT ANYWHERE

I'm a city fan but I'm a football fan and he looks like the real deal, he had a good game.
Cant wait to see merino as well
An extraordinary versatility player, can play as DM and attacking.
His forward surging with the ball in the middle is impressive. Oppositions often get caught surprised.
He looks like he could play 8.
@@cablethelarryguy exactly, as if his LB/CB are fake position in order to deceive the opponent.
He has really really good head I noticed

🇮🇹 We have a great versatile line-up on defense

He's a good boy.
2 european cups at least with this team, mark it somewhere
He was almost perfect - it was his fault city scored the 1st goal, but after that, he was immense
If he keeps getting better, he'll be too good to be CB or LB. I bet his managers will try to make him a DM or CM.
Marcou um golaço e foi o primeiro pelo Arsenal .
Good boy😊❤

It's not about benching Ben white its about how many games are we playing a month everyone at Arsenal is a starter

Califiori shoot look like rb peras😊
thanks
You're welcome!
Try to put him in front of gabriel n saliba, he'll do better than partey or jorginho
The guy got cooked by savinho. If we play wingers like vini or sane he will get cooked again. Timber is honestly the better option
he made a mistake there, and he adjusted after that incident,he locked up savinho the whole game
He sacked many times, bro. But he is versatile and give more safety than Zinc.
Sacked …?
Casual football fan
Timber for me
Let as download the videos,,,,,stop wanting money you
Im sure he will be out soon with injury😂😂😂
