Great song, brilliant guitar playing from one of the greatest virtuosos and a very good album. Vinnie Moore brought them some really good riffs/songs and playing...
wow vinnie moore putting his signature all over this even using solo parts i have heard in his albums.. yeah..this sounded very familiar... its "riding high" 3rd song from vinnies meltdown album
My Mom always asks me what I want from her for a Christmas gift, and she always want's to spend $100 or more! One year I told her that all I wanted was this CD. She said "Are you serious?" Needless to say, this was my CD for my Christmas present from her. Probably the best Christmas ever!!!!! UFO blowin' my stereo up on Christmas Day!!!!!!!
+David Lake good choice :) I did not kow much about UFO and after listening to 30 seconds of this song in a music store I thought to myself "man, I'm so buyin' this album" (and I bought)
@@jksstreet469 : Yes, I loved them with Michael Schenker especially, but they have Vinnie Moore (who's a fna of Schenker, anyway) on this album, and since then... although they're apprently retirnig this time...
I hold Michael Schenker as one of my favorite guitar-players but don't really understand why so many have something "against" UFO with other guitarists. Have they even tried to enjoy it? UFO has done a lot of albums over the years. How many of the "haters" have even heard "You Are Here" for example? I get the impression most haven't bothered with many songs at all and just put their "opinions" regarding a few song on 15 + albums..!
I agree. They did very good albums with Paul Chapman (The Wild, The Willing and the Innocent and Mechanix, but I'm not too fond of the two others), the one with Atomik tommy isn't so bad, in spite of a very 80's cold sound, and !i do like th eones they did with Vinnie Moore, whose style I love, especially this one... But it's true my three favourite studio albums are Lights Out, Obsession, both featuring Michael Schenker and beautifully produced by Ron Nevison, with some occasional good orchestrations, and also No Heavy Pettin', when they started adding keyboards.
An excellent song, but it seems to borrow from an earlier UFO song, Between a Rock and a Hard Place (Ain't Misbehavin'). The riffs are really alike, and some of the melodies as well.

This and The Wild One are the two best tracks in all of music since the year 2000

"When Daylight goes to Town" sounds like if it was written when Michael was still in the band. Could been have from 1977 or 1978.
Actually, this song is Riding High from Vinnie Moore (instrumental from his Meltdown album) with lyrics.
@@LucasMarquesJ1 But with a rockier touch
