@ LUCKY so I also had a audition in November for district 3 (I made it yay) on tuba and I had to soprano a 3/4 sized tuba and I also did soprano on French horn for a concert it was a nightmare (oh forgot to add this but I was the only tuba that made it in so I have solo songs which are reaching notes up to a high double b flat) thanks for replying btw
@@Dutuletzs i play euphonium, and most of the time the second euphonium ( theres only 2 including me ) like looses his place after struggling on his notes and sometimes have to solo most of the measures
@@typical_lasangaeater I’ve played euphonium but I switched to tuba so our band could have the nice melody because tuba was the only instrument with a solo part and our band director hasn’t had a tuba in 7 years

lol I’ve got a big audition on soprano coming up in a month so the band directors had me play soprano for half the concert to strengthen my embouchure
