Calcium initially had 4 shells, but it needs a full 8,so it loses 2(2,8,8,2=2,8,8) therefore making it to have only 3 outer shells.I hope you understand
Can we write this definition of covalent bond Formed when a pair of electrons is shared between non metals leading to a noble gas electronic configuration 11:30
@chembio sir could you please share the link/pdf to this paper? I want to try and solve it myself and then match with your video. It would be a great help! 🙏🙏😭 Thank you in advance
Hi, 49:24 you mentioned that in the chem paper6 exam the examiners provide you with a sheet of paper containing the "identification of ions" guid etc, does it come in the print out paper or is it provided by the invigilators during the exam? Idk this may seem like an incoherent q, but personally in my monthly school assessments we were never provided with that, so I got the implication that we must memorise it somehow by ourselves. I'm really unsure but I need answers! Cz trying to memorise the identifications of ions stuff specifically in p6 is killing me (it js does not stick in my memory).
@@mxrl_413 I turned many things into a song but I still didn't make a song for ions. However, you simply tell Ai what you want to be included in the song and tell it to make it tune with a famous song you know. And you just adjust if adjustments are needed.
the concentration of the products and the reactancts. have to always be the same. if one is decreased, then the other also has to decrease to reach the same concentration level.
hi, there isnt specimen papers for 2024 :), they only make specimen papers when there is a syllabus update and the last syllabus update was 2023, thats why there are 2023 specimen papers and not 2022 or 2024.
Sir what does A and I refer to in mark scheme guidance column? Like in 1st question it says "I graphite/diamond/coal/charcoal" does this mean that these answers are acceptable or no?
13:42 isn't calcium supposed to have one more electron shell with electrons because its in period 4 and there is only 2 shells
Calcium initially had 4 shells, but it needs a full 8,so it loses 2(2,8,8,2=2,8,8) therefore making it to have only 3 outer shells.I hope you understand
you have missed the last shell in Ca its atomic no is 20 so you need to a shell withdraw 8 electrons for Ca
pls send this paper copy
Me too please
@@franc5064 do u need it now?
When drawing alcohols the OH shouldn’t have a bond between them
It depends on the question, if it says show all bonds then yes you need to show O-H
please do paper 2 and 6

No you have to refer the type of attraction

sir i thought students taking the exams from 2023 onwards, don't need to memories the identification of ions...

38:14 can we do CH3 instead, one on each carbon atom??
No you cant because it is but-1-ene so 1st part of carbon chain is the one with double bond. You can do ch3 if it is but-2-ene
I have exam in a few hours 😢
Best of luck
Where did u get the paper from ??
exammate or savemyexams
