Speak Sis! At age 45 I started making myself a priority. I’m 49 now and it was the best decision I ever made for myself! Being the “strong black woman” for a man did nothing for me, but “TRY” to age me prematurely! Thank goodness I bounced ALL the way back! I have an adult son as well (24) he’s in design school. I am in his corner no matter what BUT, he too will have to figure some things out! We Rest!
