I dont really know a lot about this stuff. I just knew for $8 I better buy that. I saw so many things underpriced. esp items for resale on ebay. There was close to $1000 to be made with just some online auctions. Esp in the paper stacks.
I can't believe you found a sterling silver bell for $8! Amazing! It's beautiful! I know Mr Mangini will be proud to have the sports memorabilia that you're sending him. I know any sports collector would. Squirrel Man was wanting to go outside. Bless his heart. No, we don't want a squirrelscicle. 🤣💖💯
Yea...me either. But then again...I cant believe I got a page full of NFL auto's for $20 and an Ohio State Ticket in a Binder for $30...LOL....that place has the deals. It is like a yardsale
That Sterling Bell is more than nice, it's worth more than 8 dollars, its antique and hand hammered on a miniature scale! I sure wish I could have found that Bell, I would have snatched it up fast. Very good job my friend.
I couldnt believe it to be honest. And the autographs too.....and the Ohio State Ticket. And even those Love Letters for $1.00 each. In a top loader displayed. Those would sell well on ebay. You could ask $50.00 for those and get it.
But you cannot sell that stuff in the flea market for those prices....not ever. But you can on ebay....if you know what you are doing. The paper is a GOLD MINE if you do. You could easily make six figures a year just selling old paper on ebay....with EASE too.
@@rockscousteau You are correct in your whole comment, that Bell was an unbelievably awesome find, a stunner. I went picking yesterday and after that I got some sweet deals in an Art Glass Auction today online, the Auctions carried under them are some of the best collections, this collection had 500 items, and the last one had 800. Something cheap in that Auction House is 30 to 80 dollars. I spent too much so I'm going to wait sometime before I will look again. You go out and find great items for resale. I used to do that with my dad and mother and grandparents, now I collect. Have to give away some items to bring in the much better things soon. Hope you are doing well. Much love.
Wow amazing video. Loved loved loved all the finds. That bell is so beautiful 😍, great find. Love the pennies. Ummm , wanna sell Grave Digger ??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣, seriously??? If so email me about it.
Yea I have a few souvenir pennies too. I have never dug one though. I try and buy them when i see them....I think I probably have 30 total now. I am going to frame them all up
....Charles Wallis Sterling....English Silversmith..bell looks antique to vintage and it looks to be a hallmark. Sometimes on sterling with a cw mark can also mean "cold worked" ...leaning toward the hallmark idea 🙂
...actually looking further at the vid the little cw by the sterling mark may indeed stand for cold worked...why it looks hammered. The little 66 could stand for 66 grams of weight..if you can weigh it. Need to decipher what's on the face of the bell.
Ok...Thank you man. I have never looked into silver marks one time...nor read about them at all. I just knew to buy this. Is there anyway to figure the age? And I wonder if this is a dinner table Bell?
@rockscousteau ...I think it is a table bell maybe what's on the front of the bell will be a clue of age. I can't make out if it's a Monogram of the owner you may inquire more info from the store to help trace it back....solid find for 8 bucks !!
Holy smokes! You stole that sterling bell for only 8 bucks. Just the melt value alone has to be close to $20-$25. I've been teaching my self silversmithing for a few years now as a hobby and I've only successfully casted one bell. The only problem was it was made with 999 fine silver instead of sterling. Apparently 999 is to soft of a metal to ring out. LOL, I'll keep trying though. MUSH LOVE homey, I'll see you on the next one. 🍄🙏✌💚
Yea I know. That is my favorite buy in there. I like that more than the auto page. It is WELL MADE. The bell itself .... in hand....feels expensive. I will look it over better for hallmarks or maker marks
Amazing buy on the bell! Salute!
I looooove the silver bell! And the penny souvenirs are awesome.
You Rock are flat out Good People.

The downtown area is the cleanest city I have ever been in. Everything looks perfect. Even the grass
