That Nilesy play was Tom in spirit, Ped in execution, and Ravs in dedication. Beautifully done. I like the new role the only tricky thing is it seems unclear (even to the players) how long it takes to actually spread it. The Arsonist had a clear indicator but then he was meant to intentionally affect people. Here it's just like "woah did he get me am I gotten?"
A cool mechanic that the doctor could have is that instead of the plague killing after a certain time instead the doctor has a buy menu where they can choose side effects like knowing the roles of the infected, sees them through walls etc just don't make it blind them everyone would hate that
Yeah, each new person that is infected gives one point and you can buy "lethal symptoms" at 3 or 4 points, so each person can decide to bet on infecting everyone and killing them or taking something that improves their odds in a gunfight, like "can't jump", "slowed speeds", or "reversed controls". Maybe even a purchase to increase the timer before a person knows they've been plagued.
I'd rather it be a debuff, like everyone can see their role or see them through walls. Butterfingers plague too, or the most lethal disease: inverted controls.
agreed, the plague isnt as impactful for how fast these rounds go. at most you get like 1 or 2 deaths it seems. so maybe having a buy menu to mutate the plague(give an effect) that'll apply to all infected, plague kills could give the PM more credits to evolve their plague

Last time I've bingewatched the Yogscast playing TTT was 5 or 6 years ago. Watching them play again makes me feel nostalgic because I remember being 16, pulling all-nighters during summer vacation just to watch you guys. Love seeing the gang still hanging around. 🥰
That's got to be the best Duncanon ever seen. I can't recall any other times it was this effective. Perhaps in the early days when it was a 1 hit kill weapon? 🤔
To me, the fact that Ben earned a Perfect Round makes it better. First, his teammate outs himself, allowing Ben to know who the glitch is. Second getting away from the summons got most people crammed together in a near perfect positioning for Ben, who promptly capitalizes on it. Then a Red Matter Bomb chaser where Ben assists by closing a door. Just, *Chef's Kiss* level teamwork.
I’m really hoping this Jingle Jam they’ll do some kind of “Every Role We’ve Ever Had” pack with literally all the roles from the past 2 years or more. I realize it’s probably a pipe dream, because the coding and interaction bugs would be absurd, but one can dream.

I prefer this way because it means the Plague Doctor can't directly control how the plague spreads, instead he has to predict how people will move. Dead bodies should also carry the plague though and could be used as 'weapons' or to clog doorways

Role Idea: Cyborg - Neutral Role that works like a bounty hunter. They gain credits by killing their marked target. The target is selected randomly and that person is then notified that a bounty has been placed on their head. And as a bonus feature , the Cyborg can detonate themselves as a last resort , and they explode on death (or have a chance to). Their shop should consist of cybernetic themed gadgets and weapons.
the plague spreader is a good addition to the game, you've now managed to stop all the innocents grouping up in a one way area of the map. I know there is other such weapons that can prevent this, but this actively encourages people not to, which I think is great, another level of trust is required, more mind games = more fun imo.
So you know how some plagues can still be passed on from rotting corpses if people touch them? What if the Plague Master came with a perk that if the Plague Master dies and you inspect it you get the plague? I'm not sure where that would be in terms of balancing, but it would mean that when the plague arises, you either have to check the suspected Master and risk getting infected, or avoid touching bodies making people wonder if they got them or not!
I think plaguemaster needs a buff, it seemed like once everyone with the plague died then they were just a normal neutral role. They need to be able to spread the plague from themselves or get the plague gun back if all the infected people get killed
I think having such a confined map certainly didn't help the Plague Doctor this time. Perhaps a larger map with more hiding spots will help them become the threat they're meant to be.
I feel like at this point, Lewis should just get a game studio to make their own TTT style game, as their version of this game is so vastly different from the base game.
I've thought of that, but they're so reliant on user-made (and copyright breaking) content that it'd be hard to reproduce. Their GMod version works great, the only downside is that they can't sell it.
Although Rythian getting ben with barrel justice was very much a revenge play it was smart of him to throw ben off the roof because if anyone ressed him he would of been outed as the plague master
I think its a good concept, but it should be like DayZ, where you laugh when you're a cannibal, and not show on your screen, maybe like a sneeze or a cough to have the same effect, but not as blatant

The cramped map didn't help. On the bigger maps they usually play on it's much more viable.

So the double barrel shotgun makes you have that kind of crosshair. At 15:47 you will see Zylus also has it while holding it.
Each guns has it's one crosshair, and it just so happens the Double-Barrel Shotgun has one that covers a quarter of the screen.
