Grew up going to Ocean Beach every weekend. Miss it so much! This made me so happy to watch.
I wish he would add the content and charm tho. He just captures where he walks and slightly the surroundings by roadways. Ugh!!
Nice walk through. Your commentary with your knowledge of the beaches and communities we visited was flawless !
First part by Sunken Forest obviously my favorite, it's too bad so many of Pitch Pine trees there have salt burn (the reddish needles), its unusual for them to be affected but Isaias was such a strong storm with little rain. Hopefully things there will look much greener by next summer with the Pines and all the other trees that looked like November. Glad you were brave enough to go through Point O' Woods, they generally dont like people walking through the signs say its a private community, thats why they have the gate on the west side. I only went through there a few times. But I want to go back, there's a lot of beautiful Pines there. Ocean Beach is the "hub" always the busiest part of Fire Island, its sort of like the Rockville Centre or Babylon Village of Fire Island.
Wooowww, I haven't gone to Fire Island lately ... thank you for sharing!
Wonderful sandy shoreline walk. Some large weathered shingled homes along the way.
Point of Woods beach even seemed to have a lifeguard on it. Lots of bicycles.
Friend from walking in Russia. Another Great new walking video. I like it, lovely places. Thank u for sharing 👍🚶💓🏩🏫🗽🗼🏰🌆🚲🚓🚌
OMG, is that a private home or an Airbnb, what a cool location. Must be creepy as hell at night! 12:37
I know, The coocooie might snatch you up, speaking of snatches. Hawk...
I love your videos because you walk everywhere keep your work up you're the best
Just don't eat a Quest bar hand.
He needs to slowly pan the scenery surroundings, he mostly films where he walks only. He misses a lot of content and he’s already there. Documentary film makers pay good money for slowly panned content. He missing capturing this moment, plus getting paid in the future. If there were a lot of storm damage, he could have “befores” documented. He’s got the right idea of going places, but not enough noggin to utilize it all.....
Hi Ken. I love your vlogs and your fellow you tubers whom you introduced to me at al. The vlogs from Taiwan, Mexico are also fun to watch.☺
I grew up on Long Island and one of my biggest regrets is that I never got to visit Fire Island... it looks like an amazing place.
Yep, same here John. Closest I've been to Fire Island was on the shoreline of the Great South Bay. Growing up we would take road trips out on the North Fork to Greenport and Orient Point. I've been there when visiting in the summer. Not this year for obvious reasons. Living in FL since '86. Time flies.
Fire Island and the sunken forest was very interesting and so relaxing. It’s nice to see all the bicycles and people riding them. I bet the bicycle rentals do well there.
Many come with the rental homes or they bring them. They r usually kept there all year round.
Those beautiful yachts never to be seen!
Beautiful, stay safe 😍😷
Such an awesome, scenic and quiet walkthrough my friend. I like the Osmo pocket, but wish it has a slightly wider angle however.
He needs to slowly pan the scenery surroundings, he mostly films where he walks only. He missed everything and he’s there.
You can actually buy wide angle lenses for the Pocket on DJI's website.
@@MultiPurposeReviewer That is good to know!

Yeah, he needs that’s cause he focuses too much on the walking path. He’s right there to capture the moment and only captures 20%. The wide angle pocket lense from DJi’s would be great in his case. Someone should tell him.
Nice place!👍
love this walk
Since there doesn't seem to be any vehicular traffic, how in the heck do the folks who have houses there get deliveries, like furniture?
They all use wagons, it’s real cute. Red flyer wagons and there’s a grocer nearby. I’m sure ppl deliver too.
I was hoping you'd make it to Ocean Beach--for us "common" people! HAHA!
I made it!
Why didn't they pave the boardwalk a bit from 11:17 to the Sunken Forest? We had to give up the plan when I was there 2 years ago because I had a cart with me and couldn't roll over the sand :(
The gate at 30:04 was open when I was there. Someone must have forgotten to close it. probably the most annoying 15 minutes for you unless you enjoyed the beach lol.
Hey Action kid I need you to know I always receive the notification that your coming on live or a new video is uploaded only sometimes it's when I am at work so I can't get on at that time but I enjoy all your videos later in my own time thanks for your work and I thought you should know it's all good in Vancouver anyways getting notifications through the Chatter network....
(native NY'r ... turn the speed up to 2 for a more natural. walk :)
FIRE ISLAND ANOTHER PLANET BEAUTIFULLLLLLLL
6:26, these are new steps, i was here 10 years ago
So quiet.. ? Thanks for the tour friend
theres no street names ! How do residents learn their way around it all looks the same?
💖😍👍💖😍👍💖😍👍 I enjoyed watching it so much, thank you 💖😍👍💖😍👍💖😍👍

Are those bikes Fire Island's version of city bikes?
No, they are privately owned. He doesn’t add charm to his vids. He needs to pan content more. The renters or home owners on the island bring or keep their bikes there all year round. Most rental homes come with bikes. It’s very charming. Sadly, he sees everything, but isn’t capturing enough for the viewer, he just captures where he walks mostly. I’m going to have to teach him more cause these can become documentaries where he could get paid for footage in the future. Documentary film makers pay good money for decent slow panned footage. He also pans too fast on homes and good scenic areas. 🤣🤣
I was there just last week...
Wish you could use a 360° camera...I would use a VR headset to watch your content...this would be so cool to walk with you in VR !
Yes!! He doesn’t capture enough charm along the way. Mostly the path and walkways, and slight surroundings.
some of the parts of these walks kind of need your verbal navigation
Not only that, he never pans to the right or left as he walks to get scenery and content in. It’s do frustrating I want to grab the phone from him and show him!! 🤣🤣🤣
I’m a photographer, I capture it all. He mostly gets the sidewalks. Ugh!!
Is this iphone or gopro footages?
Someone's thirsty!
At 7:20 , a fire hydrant in the middle of no where . Always be prepared !
I bet the animals run to the beach water. Fire stops by sand too.
👍👍👍
google should pay you to map out the new york.
He needs to slowly pan the scenery, the sailboats, the surroundings, the charm, he mostly films where he walks only. He misses a lot of content and he’s already there. Documentary film makers pay good money for slowly panned content. He misses capturing this moment, misses slowly panning right and left content, plus getting paid in the future. If there were a lot of storm damage, he could have “befores” documented. He’s got the right idea of going places, but not enough noggin to utilize it all.....
Show the town as u walk, the charm of the parked bicycles. U miss so much. Those bikes add content, color and charm. U passed little barns or shacks on ur left, pan them! Show what u r seeing. Ur not thinking of ur audience. Ur there, ur audience isn’t. Walkways and pathways are quite boring for an hour. I’m shocked u take the time to film, but barely add content. I have to fast forward the sidewalks.
👋🏻👋🏻
4:20 😍
You scared the biker.
U touched with bare hands a water fountain where hundreds of ppl a day could touch too. Where’s ur latex gloves dude??
AK ❤❤❤
