    I love short flights. You get the fun of taking off, climbing ,and landing without contracting truck butt from sitting too long.

    Wow, to think that at one time your channel only had 11k subscribers and now it's over 100k subscribers.....unbelievable and you deserve it. It's a shame that after all of the wonderful content that you provide on a weekly basis that it took this long to reach 100k subscribers. In any event, I'm very glad that you did and I know for a fact that you're only going to keep soaring from here!

    That take off was mad quick. I was not expecting such an early rotation. Plane must have been super light.

      It was. I don't remember the exact load on this flight, but it wasn't many. Probably less than 50 passengers.

    Thank you so much for posting this. A must travel trip I have to take. In 2022, I went to Honolua, HI on Southwest. And it was great. I have always to fly to Hawaii. I will go back again. Next time, I am taking my little son.

    Another scenic and relaxing flight. BTW, you have to hop on one of those Japan Airlines flights out of HNL one day, lol.

      Yup. HNL is a shared military/civil airport and there is a squadron of F22's based there. Thanks for watching!

    That landing came in pretty hot...737 approach speeds are silly sometimes.

    Cool Video! How often do you actually see the plane in front of you take off and then you see the plane behind you waiting in line to take off. 👍👍

    Great fly! Have you heard two people were injured after Southwest flight from New Orleans to Orlando was experiencing severe turbulence and was forced to land in Tampa?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 месяца назад

      I did hear that. Sounds like one of the FA's sustained some pretty serious injuries.

    WOWOWOW!! Superfantabuloussuperamazinghawaiiviewssupercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! This was the day when we had the darkest High Noon that I had ever see here in Western WA. Glad to see that it was much brighter in HI.
    So... 5 more days to go for you now. I'll bet you're thrilled to pieces. And we'll be equally eager to see your account and travel log of the eclipse. And remember, when you're on that flight, it'll be 7 years per hour, so make it count, and when they serve you The Ooze, be sure to drink it so you'll understand everyone no matter which language they speak. And if you end up going thru a wormhole to a distant galaxy, be sure to record and document everything and send it all back to us.
    Anyhow, I'll bet this will all be way more exciting than having to do jury duty. :)

      Well the bad news is that a big portion of the path of totality looks to be in complete cloud cover that day. The good news is I'll be above the clouds haha.

    You should make more JetBlue videos

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 месяца назад

      I actually really love JetBlue. The problem with flying them becomes where I live. They only fly to MCI near me and that service is ending due to poor performance. I just don't have many options in the middle of the country to fly JetBlue. And since they ended their Northeast Alliance with American, I also don't get any perks for flying JetBlue, which makes it difficult when I need to try to quality for my Oneworld and Star Alliance status every year.

    Are those 2 F22 Raptors taxiing in the background prior to takeoff?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 месяца назад

      They are. HNL is a shared civil/military airport and there is a squadron of F22's based at HNL.

    Odd this was leaving off the longest runway at HNL .

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 месяца назад

      At the time of this flight, the shorter runway that was closer to the terminals was still closed for reconstruction. So, pretty much every flight was having to depart from the reef runway.
