Mike Tomlin should share some responsibility for letting his stars act like divas. They knew Brown was a diva before he signed his new contract, but Tomlin is not the General Manager or owner. I'm sure he has a voice but he is not the voice as far as contract or trading. Tomlin started this culture by treating his veterans different than the others.

Pittsburgh fans are amongst the grittiest, hardest-working fans whether they’re in Washington Twp., Aliquippa, or even across the border into Ohio itself. The city itself is the Steel City which represents its people’s character well. Steel is hard and the winter is hard as are its people. Get Big Ben out of there to. JuJu and Julio with a not respected Nick Foles and a tough blocking receiver with a confident defense will win. Vet guys who love the game and not just money. Tomlin cannot supervise Roethlisberger and the team knows it. That is the real issue. AB is childish and was loyal until he didn't get what he wanted as are most people in society. When they filmed the players crashing LeVeon's locker I thought that was a bad look for Tomlin, it gave the appearance that he co-signed it and that was a childish move as well. Team is way to chatty for a big time team, Roethlisberger is the most chatty and his play does not warrant the amount of voice he has and he talks about discipline for others then resists when he receives it just ask Wisenhunt, Haley, and Tomlin, and his off the field history is just a cut above Jameis Winston. They have big problems there.

Problems?? your talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers - these arnt Problems for the Steelers - they are only Challenges - if the Steelers dont win a title with this group, then they will with the next group - because thats what the Steelers do over and over again - build title teams! Still the Best Dam Ball Club in Team Sports!!

Daniel Israel Check what? How? Should Tomlin make Ben just give yes and no answers during interviews? Tell him after 15 years that he can never offer up constructive criticism when plays go bad? Tell him to keep putting most of the blame on his shoulders like he’s already been doing his entire 15 year career at post game press conferences? He’s not Bill Belichick. Tomlin treats his players like men, the fact that they become diva and drama queens is not his fault, or Bens. Bens Job is to show up for work and deliver the football as effectively as possible to help the team win. So many of you people can push the blame on someone else but all Antonio Brown has to do is look in the mirror and get it together. I’m a lifelong Steeler fan, and I want AB on the team

Legitimate question, if AB wants a trade to a different team, could the trade partner potentially pick up some of that cap hit for the Steelers, and/or could AB restructure his contract so that it doesn't hurt the team as much?

Unfortunately as a Steelers fan I see this as the beginning of a rebuild. Gather up as many picks as you can, count on nailing a QB prospect that pans out, a solid pass catching rb, and hope our Oline holds up until we do. The defense will have to sort itself out somehow this next season will be Ben's last, the next few years will be centered around an offense that will ease a new QB into the league

True, way too much talent on that team not to go to the playoffs while Patriots are the #2 seed without a true #1 wide receiver and the worst roster in over 10 years. Brady be going nuts with a AB or juju Smith. With both of them I can't even imagine.

The one thing no one seems to be talking about is the fact that the Steelers missed the playoffs and no matter how this works out and AB needs to go play for who everwill give Pittsburgh the best deal. Pittsburgh has no running backs or and possibly no first string receivers and lets not even talk about DB's and the rest of their defense. Pittsburgh is a hurting unit and will be watching a lot of Playoffs and Super bowls on TV for the next 2 to 5 years.

Ben is a problem but because he is a franchise quarterback he is virtually unassailable as far as management is concerned and he knows it. This undercuts Tomlin ability to handle his players properly.

Tomlin has made playoffs 8 of his 12 seasons, BUT was one and done in playoffs 4 of those 8 times. And those 4 losses were not to Tom Brady or some other great team. They were to David Garrard, Tim Tebow, Joe Flacco, and Blake Bortles....Garrard, Tebow, and Bortles have COMBINED for 4 playoff wins in their careers.....3 of them were against Mike Tomlin. Let that soak in for a while.

I hate when people bring up the anthem protest and what the Steelers did their left tackle is ex spec ops and he was the only one not in the tunnel. They refused to support and respect a teammate that has literally killed people so they can have the privilege to make millions of dollars a year playing a game and only working 20 weeks a year and they couldn't respect him. If I were him I'd have told them I didn't care what their choice is I'm going to go out to the sideline

  • @joaquin4497

Juju would be the new number 1 cuz he is a number 1 receiver in this league and number two I think would be chosen with their draft pick (number 19) and i think they take somebody like aj brown. And if the raiders got a first for cooper I think the Steelers could get a first and possibly more from a team like the 49ers and it could rly help then address their needs on defense and as nick described it would rly do nothing against their cap... this is addition by subtraction and it is the right thing to do Steelers fans
