The song "Stravan" changed my attitude towards black metal. The beginning of song reminds me the start of song "Last rites. Loved to death" of Megadeth". The music is atmospheric and guitar rifs is nice. I like this.
All I can listen too is black metal. It mirrors the battles that are constantly going on in my mind and soul. I feel like "fun happy" music just makes me sink into my depression even lower, so I gotta avoid it as much as possible
I love the deep emotional growling vocals and the insane speed double drumming. There are some very welcomed solos here and there. I love those instrumental solo moments and it is the reason that i dislike Punk Rock which has a lack of. The songs are a nice length, not too short and not 20+ minute song "sagas". A great album to listen to while working out, feeling pissed off at the current state of the union..etc. The album feels like "Dark Metal" indeed yet i can sense some Viking Metal and Gore mixed in there. I admit that i am not interested in the lyrics of this album. In my opinion the instruments and screams in this album is what brings so many people from many places of the world and walks of life to listen to what i belive is the ultimate form of expression. Metal Is Forever!
