same here! Praise the Lord, God gave us an amazing woman. Jesus Christ blessed her with an incredible talent that cannot be replicated. Melba is beautiful and truly shines. I love that Katt who is a brother in Christ lifted her up and brought to our attention a real talent.

Melba's "Other Side Of The Rainbow" record was broken by Tee Green (doing Benard Ighner's standard "Everything Must Change") in early 2011 by only 3 seconds! The note was held on the word "fly"! Melba still holds the record..as far as women are concerned and she holds the record..as far as 'longest for an album track' is concerned! Her 's was recorded at 36 seconds, while Tee Green's ( a male from U.K.) was recorded just 3 seconds longer at 39 seconds!

Because of that Exhusband /Manager who took all of her money and lied saying Melba was unstable and on crack. She was reduced to Welfare and public transportation. Sadly Her Daughter abandoned her to "get on the money train" I actually ran into her one day in the 90's getting off of a bus and I told her how much I loved Her Music and I will be praying for her. She seemed a bit Surprised and Affected. All I wanted to do was hug her really. But I am so Glad my prayer was answered and she is better than Ever.

Truth IS stranger than fiction. This Video is partly Autobiographical. If only some of our Artists learn from their own music perhaps they could have changed things. The Gift of music is so Magical.

@@kelitamiles7270...I totally agree....sign your own checks like Oprah....Melba was very very wealthy aka rich at one time....sleeping with the enemy...a greedy, self serving enemy....later on he got greedy and lying to others like Emmitt Smith, Steve Harvey etc....his trifling ass ended up in prison.....I don't know if he's still there, but oh well!!!! ...can you BELIEVE, This is Melba's SOLE #1 hit? ...on ANY chart!?
...she was one of the first 70's 'Disco Diva''s, benefited from productions from McFadden & Whitehead & Kashif, was one of TV's first Black Women to host her own series (with Clifton Davis), has been in THREE legendary Broadway plays....with, ONLY ONE NUMBER ONE!??? ...Well, let's go back to 1987, when 'The Peach' ruled the top of the R&B charts.... (cont.)
    10. Take It To The Limit - Ray, Goodman & Brown
    9. Big Fun - Gap Band
    8. Serious - Donna Allen
    7. Slow Down - Loose Ends
    6. As We Lay - Shirley Murdoch
    5. Ballerina Girl - Lionel Richie
    4. Situation #9 - Club Nouveau
    3. Candy - Cameo
    2. Have You Ever Loved Somebody - Freddie Jackson
    1. *** Falling *** - Melba Moore (for 1 week)
....I've ALWAYS 'Fallen' for Melba, and, this was a DESERVED #1.. (3:46)....I'm faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllinnnnggggg.......

Every time I think about Jaws I think back to a Mike Douglas (talk show) episode
that had Steven Spielberg and Melba Moore on. One of the first questions she asked him
was: "How did you train the shark to do all that stuff ?" I can't remember what his answer was
because I was laughing so hard. I'd love to see that show again.
I think they went immediately to a commercial break but I could be wrong.
