Thank you for such a beautiful sermon. I enjoyed your words and I followed along with my Bible. Thank you and God Bless
Give us this day our daily bread. Jesus is the bread that came down from heaven .
God bless you Daniel.
exellent brother Daniel
Am I profitable to God or am I being selfish.
Jesus please make me a part of your kingdom to work for you.
paul contradicts God's word in torah. Deut 23 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee. Sadly, paul disobeys God and returns a runaway slave to his master, philemon @
Paul did not "deliver" Onesimus to his master, the slave went back voluntarily to restore a broken relationship and to paint a picture of forgiveness for us to follow in our own lives. Paul did not disobey God, he painted a picture for us about how God forgives us!
Snippersly Paul's sends Onesimus back. Philemon 1:12 Whom I have sent again. Nice try
@@torahlove7693 Onesimus could have run again...Onesimus had a choice, Onesimus despite being sent back (remember he already ran once) voluntarily returned to restore the relationship... Onesimus obeyed Paul, obeyed God and returned because it was the right thing to do.
Snippersly Deut 23:16 specifically says You shall not deliver a runaway slave to his master. If Onesimus religiously followed Paul's doctrine, that makes Paul all the more culpable. Paul violated Deut 23:16. Philemon 1:12 I am sending him back to you
@@torahlove7693 Again, you missed the point. Onesimus went back, voluntarily, as a brother, not a slave. Onesimus debt was covered by Paul, he was a free man, who went back to reconcile a broken relationship. It is a picture of Christ freeing us and our reconciliation to the Father...
Stop thinking old testament slavery, this is Roman times and the Torah law did not apply across the Roman empire. Keep studying my friend, you will see the parallels in Philemon to Christ and forgiveness. It is a great story.
