I live in joint family with totally 10 members. Married for 4yrs alhamdullilah.
Father In law
Sister in law (Husband younger sis)
Brother in law & his wife, 2 kids (Husband elder bro)
Me my husband and kid
Its been 4yrs and I never been selfish towards my husband family. I make food for all. Even though his elder bro and wife doesn't take much care of home I tell my husband to bring vegetables, milk and other stuff.
But my husband elder brother and his wife Esp. Wife never never takes effort to run a home. Its like in a month she buys milk may be only 1 or 2 times only if she needs. Including vegetables and non veg. And most of the time she makes breakfast and dinner only for themselves.. Not for me or my husband.. Though I don't say anything. I gave so many chances.
Infact she isn't my mother in law to obey or keep quiet. I never utter any word.. But when I make I cook for whole family thinking why to cook separately when all living under one roof. But Since last 2 weeks am getting irritated with her selfish behaviour as kids have started going school.. My husband too knows this but he doesn't say anything. Even though I said I want to go separately he isn't ready for it..
What should I do. Should I cook for myself or cook for all.. Even though I cook she doesn't eat, she cooks separately for her and tells my husband to bring veg & non veg.. She don't tell her husband.. My husband gets so much irritated by her behaviour he shouts on me like why she telling me to go to market..
She doesn't tell her husband like kind of saving money. Its like let them spend why should we.. But my husband has no choice he had to go atleast for me or his old aged father.. Because his elder bro is so irresponsible and doesn't care and so as his wife.. And they doesn't want to go separately. @@onaction9677 living in joint is it selffff very wrong on many levels … in islam one should give his wife separate kitchen and home and as a wife you are not bound to serve his parents if you are doing it you get reward insha allah … but think about yourself too its not being selfish its your right to have peacefull life so go ahead ask ALLAH for help 💖
@@twinkletwinkle3495 Yes dear. I need peace. I need rest. Its been 4yrs infact almost 5yrs I had sabr and looked after everyone. Even am a human I have my own likes and dislikes. My husband too supporting this alhamdullilah but just wanted to know whether am I doing it right or not.. Yes its totally not being selfish, If it was selfish then since marriage I would have done this or gone separately. Pray for me dear. And thank u so so much for replying. I have no friends other than my wife and children. Sometimes it is an overwhelming sadness. I used to have close friends and they all betrayed me. It was an absolute horrible experience. I can't be friends with my wives girlfriends. Plus I brought her from overseas so all her friends are overseas and even she's struggling to make new friends here. My one desire in heaven is to have this.
If you're young, make lots of connections and friends while you are in school. It's going to be so much more difficult when older.

i have a best friend he didnt use to pray the farz prayer nor did he pray jummah for months i used to tell him every week and encouraging him at the end hes praying everything now alhamdulilah
i aint trying to show off or something or call my self righteous its a good story and i just wanted to share it
heres another story i teached my 6 years old brother how to pray and now hes 10 im 18
so when i sometimes get lazy to pray hes tells my dont let the shaytan win and starts giving me movitation to pray
i used to tell him this and now he does it lol

My good friends are those when I am fasting they invite me to have lunch with them... * give me delicious food as they worried that I get sick .. ^_^ sometimes I hope they do that when I am not feelling well in my fasting....And they do it... Ofcourse..

Allah knows my Taqwa ..and this personal Jihad I battle ..My Lord held my hand while every jinn like ppl, friend , and foe who I help cannot be in my presence for there is no peace n light within.. Arti Sahabat dalam Islam.
"Orang-orang mukmin itu adalah bersaudara".
(Qs. Al-Hujurat 10).
"Seorang mukmin terhadap mukmin yang lainnya seperti bangunan yang saling mengokohkan satu dengan yang lain".
(HR. Bukhari-Muslim).
"Perumpamaan mukmin dalam hal saling mencintai dan berkasih sayang adalah ibarat satu tubuh, apabila satu organnya merasa sakit, maka seluruh tubuhnya turut merasakan hal yang sama, sulit tidur dan merasakan demam".
(HR. Muslim).
"Tidak beriman seseorang dari kalian hingga dia mencintai saudaranya seperti dia mencintai dirinya sendiri".
(HR. Bukhari-Muslim).
".....janganlah kamu saling mencela satu sama lain, dan janganlah saling memanggil dengan gelar-gelar yang buruk. Seburuk-buruk panggilan adalah (pangilan) yang buruk (fasik) setelah beriman. Dan barang siapa tidak bertobat, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang zalim. Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Jauhilah banyak dari prasangka, sesungguhnya sebagian prasangka itu dosa, dan janganlah kamu mencari-cari kesalahan orang lain, dan janganlah ada diantara kamu yang menggunjing sebagian yang lain. Apakah ada diantara kamu yang suka memakan daging saudaranya yang sudah mati? Tentu kamu merasa jijik. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah, sungguh Allah Maha Penerima tobat, Maha Penyayang". (Qs. Al-Hujurat 11-12).
"Tidaklah seseorang melihat aib saudaranya lalu dia menutupinya, kecuali dia akan masuk surga".
(HR. Thabrani).
Wahai Dzat yang membolak-balikkan hati, teguhkan hati kami di atas agama-Mu. Wahai Dzat yang mengarahkan hati, arahkanlah hati-hati kami untuk taat kepada-Mu.

Well the verses indeed are truly wonderful. But look at the generation now a days. You say not every trend can get you to Jannah. But in this time who cares to listen......, The only one who is mindful of Allah. It's better not to have friends coz it can be a distraction. I myself devided my good friends depend on their importance of me... And their needs upon me...alhamdulillah I meet them all in masjids..
Just following what they are up to... Enjoying the moment when we are meeting with them...
I am not concerning their intentions towards me as I am doing also what benefecial for me.
And there are times when we have to sacrifice our time for them... For the sake of Allah...
When they need us : to accompany them for instance.. Or in doing their activities... Or to help their needs when we have cash.
Enjoying all the moments with each of them.
Sometimes I confuse when each of them want my companion at the same time....
At one occasion at a time I could sit with different good friend... As they want just me to accompany...
It once occurs to my mind to unite them, but it turns out that almost each of them want special time with me, me by their side.
Which favors of Allah would we deny?

I don't want to disturb her as she has duties towards my father.
