Special effects are top notch.
Costumes are spot on for the time period too.
Taryl is such a national treasure and wealth of knowledge. Love that guy.
LOL. I'm 50 and still playing with karts. I have several. Live in the country. My main ride is a murray explorer with a stage 2 predator 420 and it has a plywood roof over the roll bars for sunblock, rear lights, top mounted lights, a winch, toolbox etc overall it's pretty cool. Cheap entertainment.
@Jon C Awesome I hope to be doing the same. I need to get an adult size minibike with suspension myself.
Love the Scooby-Doo reference at the end
Taryl has the fastest growing hair in Podunk. Just a few days after he got a makeover for the engine experiment, the long dark curls grew back.
He uses just for men brah!
That chain connector tool is a must have for every shop
"Taryl", I want to say, Thank you!! I thank you for sharing so many helpful videos! I have saved so much and fixed almost everything I have, except the things I haven't found time to get to. I'd list all the things I have done, but I would be here all day!! I have always enjoyed fixing things from the junk I own and have stolen some of your ideas and knowledge in the department. I've always tried to be Macgyver over the years, so I admire your ingenuity!! I got to run and get back to the Kawasaki 650 motorcycle I have been working on for weeks. I've had it all apart and back together a few times. Thanks again!! You are a manly man's kind of dude!! There's your dinner!! :)
Taryl, your team delivers Oscar level performance at budget prices. Your channel is guaranteed not rust, bust, or collect dust. I am a fan. I will own a Taryl shirt before this week is out. One more payment on my Kirby vacuum, an alternator install on the K1500, and I got this.
This may be my favorite Taryl video of all! Taryl you need to start a line of personal care products:
"Taryls hand and body lotion" --- "A soothing balm of carb cleaner, 2 stroke oil, brake cleaner, and the finest lithium grease available."
Doughnuts & coffee this morning. Now there’s my breakfast!
14:54 and if ya notice they got some kind of....... something on there?
🤣👌 I freaking love Taryl ❤
Classic scooby doo style unmasking
Funny stuff as always. I love these skits. Excellent writing, editing and always funny as hell. "Yeah, and I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling detectives"! I laughed my ass off!
Mummy cat is giving the go cart a CAT Scan.
Sunday coffee ☕ and a new Taryl video. How can it get any better?
Oh yeah Mustie posted as well!
Very cool video Taryl! Lots of good tips in this one. I would love to see you do another Fast Food Video Part #2, that one really cracks me up!
Nice, don't think I've heard many people remember Movin On.
Big wheels rollin - movin on!
It was on Amazon Prime Video until about a month ago. I got done watching season 1 and started season 2 and they took it off. :(
That skit was freaking hilarious! I laughed so hard I started choking. Great job guys!
One of my favorite RUclips channels!

Love this channel!!
I don't know how I missed that little chain stretcher the first timevI watched this. I have been playing with chain drive vehicles for longer than you have been on this big marble. I have to confess I have never seen one. Unreal! Mr. Fixes All U keep on keepen on. 👍👍🏍 🙉🙈🙊
I love these videos. Lawn Mower detectives are the best ones. Podunk County!
Have had one of these carts for over a year now. This gives me motivation to get it goin!!

Great info on Chains and Sprockets. I'll take one with splash guards and windshield and some weight on the steering axle.
LOVE the scooby doo take. That’s just beyond awesome
Best intro ever!
Thankyou Taryl. U make it look easy ☺️
your skits are hilarious. keep up the good work
We bought that same model year dog for our kids years ago Sams club. It served my kids well. Now it’s starting to get used by our grandkids . They hold up pretty good when you keep them stored indoors not setting outside like that one has been
"Have to go to the hardware to get some bolts......look in the box Taryl.....dummy!" LOL sounds like many conversations I have with myself 😆 great video as always, you guys are the best!!!
Hah good to see junior again.
I don't have much in common with my sister's long-time boyfriend, but it turns out he's a Taryl fan too! You've got a great thing going. I'm always glad to see a new video's been posted. Today's is a hoot! Boy, that Slippers fellow has a special set of problems, now doesn't he?
Taryl would love to see you put together an 80cc 2 stroke engine kit on a bicycle, I just put one together but my carburetor is a bit finicky for starting. Would be a great fall project to see an expert build and fine tuning tips. Great go cart video. A lot of great torque converter tips in this go cart video.
Karts are fun but mini bikes are better. Great info in the how-to and love the outtakes at the end. Two thumbs up!
great video love the chain link tightner
That lawn mower did look pretty menacing lol
20:30 greg! thats amazing! where did you find it?? that looks sweet!
34:05 THATS GREAT! feels like halloween has been cancelled everywhere but this was a fun way to bring it back!
10/10 but i have to take off 3 points, no doughnuts lol, i know thats the go karts fault but i really hope the next go kart we see can do doughnuts lol, looking forward to the next one! dang! i really want a go kart now!
That was awesome 👏
don't no why i like your videos but I do keep up the good work Very funny and informative well done mate .from Australia 🇦🇺
Another awesome video guys. Share this with Jr. It's an old Murray 110hp build!
Love this channel
Taryl, and crew, nice tribute to Scooby-doo. Great video as usual.
i put one of those aftermarket carbs on a walk behind trimmer with a 4HP tecumseh engine, ran great after a bit of fiddling with, but then the engine developed a rod knock, not sure if i'll rebuild or just repower with a predator or something, great vid Taryl, and great use of special effects, nice Scooby Doo refrence at the end there too
The old drive and driven reminds me of a clutch setup from an old Ski Doo sled.
Comet drive and driven.
Great video as always Taryl !!!! Just wanted to correct you about the air baffle, you explained it backwards lol
You use the baffle in the winter to prevent from running too lean due to the thinner winter air.
Keep on keeping on !!! And There's Your Dinner !!!!!
A guy at work had a neighbor kid riding his gocart in the cold weather and the kid wore a neck scarf... The scarf got caught up in the rear sprocket... The results were exactly what you think... The kid lost his life... I think about this every time I see a gocart...
Link?
Same problem with long hair.
I saw a Russian video where a girl with long hair was buzzing around in a circle on a go cart and her hair got wrapped up in chain and gears.
They had to reattach her scalp. Ghastly. Don't search for it.
@@mrbrown6421 that's a new kinda pain right there!
Same sorta thing happened at a local electric indoor cart place... but it was a girl whose long hair came out from under the helmet and wrapped the axle.. she lived but got scalped.
@@sixteenstone007 no pain is new, just freshly experienced.
Taryl, that chain holder tool is a real good idea! Please tell us where we can find/order one? Thanks!!
This was so funny guys awesome job
Nice to see Jr back in the videos...
Love this channel u should do more go karts lol
Ghost Lawn Mowr is Funny and guy in grass clippings too Haha!
Keep these coming boys ,excellent skits lol
another great video
Great videos
"Don't argue with your wife, Dicker". Lmao, best billy hat ever
a hat worth buying
@@closertothetruth9209 Coming soon to the online store...
Great fix
Love the Elmer Fudd laugh after his own jokes. Usually better than the joke itself. I’d like to see a steering upgrade on that Yerf Dawg.
Ronster 66, yea, check out the geometry of it. Sometimes a little tilt in, not toe in, but the top axis tilts in and forward just a bit will make it steer a lot better. A torch, pry bar, and a divider, maybe even a plumb bob should do it!
@@Hoaxer51 The angle you're thinking of is "Camber"... I think you can still find a camber gauge on ebay or JC Whitney...
Michael Scheck 👍
Hi taryl I enjoy your videos keep up the great work i have a question for your next q&a video whats your 5 likes and dislikes of liquid cooled engine vs aircooled
Fire it up .I like that saying Taryl it's funny. Thanks for the great videos
Thought for sure it was our favorite scammer R. Jorgenstine as ghost mower
30:24 you drove that go kart trough where that ghost mower was, you brave soul.
Great video
I have 3 of these you have grind the spindles off a bit and weld it a little and it turns like a charm
Holy cow guitar player Justin Johnson with the lawnmower detectives!
Did you guys pull that engine cover to check for a Fluffy nest? It looked like there were some nest bits blowing out the end when you first fired it up?
Taking a Sam’s Club $799 chinesium go kart and making it cool....great work as always Tim/Taryl!
Those old Briggs engines are kind of mean looking machines.
Love your videos videos I get a kick out of them. My question is I have the same yerf dog cart with the 6 1/2 hours Tecumseh engine. My problem is it doesn’t seem to have much power I am a mechanic so I’ve already cleaned the carburetor with torch tip cleaners and went right through it but it just doesn’t seem to get up and go I’ve replaced the chain. I replaced the belt which seems rather tight to me, but that’s what it calls for in the manual. Just wondering if I’m missing something with these little engines
Buffalo Bill @.24 is freaking hilarious😂😂😂😂
Good job
Cool chair!
These just keep getting better. lol
#35 chain vs #40 reminds me of being 14 years old in 1965. We welded together a mini bike with water pipe, used wheelbarrow wheels, West Bend outboard engine. Turned the carburetor 90 degrees. I mounted the big rear sprocket on the wheel hub with stand offs... and direct drive with #35.
Where did you get the chain tool from , all my time messing with mini bikes and go carts , I've never seen one of those !!! Thanks
I would also like to get one
I had that same 6.5 Power Sport Tecumseh on my Carter 2 seater go kart in 2004. Ran like a top. Even on my neighbors stolen diesel fuel lol smoked real bad but ran fine. That carb taught me about carburetors & the aluminum threads in the block for the boot taught me about helicoils lol.
I thought slippers had something to do with that killer mower nice video
Trying to beat winter so I'll be back to watch the rest on next break.
Lol yall are funny...nice videos 📹
everything bought at yard sale ! that is priceless
Where did you get an adjustable carb? I have the same engine
Thanks Can you do a video on a starter and starter solenoid
Looks like a mustie video!
I thought eBay stood for “ever Bought a yak”?
I always thin "Every Body Always Yellin!"
