I take the eternal happiness at the end as her feeling free from the abusive man she was stuck with rather than being happy her responsibility to the child ended. Otherwise I don't know why Misfortune would so actively want her mom to he happy but not her dad if they were both equally horrible to her-- it feels like her mom was just coping badly with a shitty hand, not her being a monster like her husband.

Mr voice is so interesting to me 🤔 I know his main goal is to trick Misfortune, but sometimes it feels like he genuinely cares for her. Like little details such as in phantasmagoria where he talks to the player that Misfortune deserves a good time and to make the right choice for her, and even scolding her like a parent when she swears. It could just be him trying to deceive us and her but :( I don't know where I'm going with this honestly LMAO i just think mr voice is so interesting as a character
It's a bit dark but my theory is that Morgo wants her to be happy so he can break her over and over. Can't ruin her day if it's already ruined. If he makes her happy again, he can make her sad in the next breath. The balloon at phantasmogoria is ray of hope which he immediately dashes, both rides make her happy, then unwell. His policing of her language is him trying to keep her happy and innocent, her being angry and unladylike makes her less fun to play with. The fact he's only taking children makes it seem like he wants childlike, innocent victims.

Morgo's intentions are never explained. He clearly needs her for something, since he says he selected her for something important, but he regrets that decision. He already marked her, just like Remor marked Fran to be the Keeper of the Key in Fran Bow, following the Great Valokas' prophecy. And just like Remor is making Fran grow through her suffering and sometimes it seems like he wants her to kill herself so she can be free from pain, Morgo can care about Misfortune in a twisted way. For Remor, suffering and death are the most wonderful things in the universe, since he is the Prince from Apollo (the Fifth Reality). On the other part, Morgo is from the Beyond, the realm outside the Five Realms of Essential Existence, so his priorities and ways of feeling can be way different than any of the realities we've seen.

There are a lot of easter eggs from Fran Bow in that part too (the pinecone people, the skeleton with a suit, the heads hanging from the tree). Also, the game developers are preparing a new chapter for Fran Bow, and a separate game with Benjamin as the protagonist c:
This game really hit home for me. There still other kids out there rn who are “misfortunes”. As a kid I was a misfortune. My father left my mother before I was born. And I resembled him. Then she got with my “stepfather” who tormented and abused us emotionally & physically all my childhood. My mother.. although she hurt me, she did make it clear she loved me. And I would imagine being just with her away from all the abuse and mess. But when I was 10 I realized my mother stayed with my stepfather so that we would never struggle with money ever again. So I would think and believe it was my fault. That I was.. a misfortune. I’m in a very much better place now as an adult and even a mother who’s changed so much since then. Don’t worry my stepfather is out of the picture but.. seeing kids get hurt and this game triggers me to cry.. I guess he really did a number on me. I adore & cherish this game. Aside of the fantasy elements it touches very real topics. Thank you for the playing the game !! I enjoyed it
I love this game and it's happy ending but it would be very cool if there was a bad ending as well, like if Morgo won Like, perhaps through following all his instructions or 'sympathizing with the parasite' I'm still really glad misfortune got to Senersedee and honestly hope she becomes a guardian angel or protector like Benjamin

I absolutely adore that you went through the game again to show us all the endings and secrets and other choice options. It's always frustrating when lets players only play through it once and never touch anything else about these kinds of games so I end up spending loads of time looking up alternate ending videos and not knowing how the youtuber felt. I've watched all the videos! I've loved them. I've got a Theory. I think the main villain is a representation of her father. Hence the whole drug thing, hiding under her bed from the scary beast, stories of violence towards her. Then some of the questions she's asked.

That makes me wonder...is it Eternal Happiness from gaining her daughters love before her departure into the next life or Eternal Happiness bcus she doesn't have to be a Mom anymore and Misfortune was getting on her nerves... I know it's jacked up but this game is jacked up and you get plenty of info how the parents act to each other and Misfortune. From verbal abuse (yelling at Misfortune), physical abuse (throwing stuff at Misfortune like Stony until she bleeds), the Mom flashing her Coconuts to grocery store Men (possibly Teen) employees for free food, the Mom cheating on her Husband by getting pipped in an alley on a dumpster by various Men and etc. It would be nice to have a real wholesome good ending but with all this evidence it could go either way.

I've watched all the videos! I've loved them. I've got a Theory. I think the main villain is a representation of her father. Hence the whole drug thing, hiding under her bed from the scary beast, stories of violence towards her. Then some of the questions she's asked.

I know it's jacked up but this game is jacked up and you get plenty of info how the parents act to each other and Misfortune. From verbal abuse (yelling at Misfortune), physical abuse (throwing stuff at Misfortune like Stony until she bleeds), the Mom flashing her Coconuts to grocery store Men (possibly Teen) employees for free food, the Mom cheating on her Husband by getting pipped in an alley on a dumpster by various Men and etc.
It would be nice to have a real wholesome good ending but with all this evidence it could go either way.
