Marwans' voice is so impressive at only 19 years old. He had to film his part in Egypt because his visa was denied. Peter Barber will tell you the story on his channel's reaction to this video.
For 10 years now, the a cappella universe touted a ""top 3", but sometime over the last year, The Bass Gang has turned it into the "top 4" ! It is so great to see that at least 3 of these young men got to finally sing together, and not just in front of separate green screens. It's a shame that Marwan's government couldn't see that RUclips constituted a work-related visa, but the gang managed to work against this obstacle and come up with some real bang-up great stuff. I always enjoy your reactions, and look forward to watching your socks being knocked off by "Be Prepared"!
Agreed with every word. 🙂 It's at least two years that I talk of the QUADRIfecta of a cappella, exactly because to me the Bass Gang is at that level. 🙂
I'm subscribed to them. Peter is one of my reactors so I simply must be there for them. The order of the 4 videos, Arabian Nights, Be Prepared, Gaston, and A Friend Like Me. Peter has been doing his reaction and analysis of the first 3 so far. Marwan was supposed to be in the Czech Republic for this one but Egypt wouldn't ok his visa (didn't believe he'd be working) so he had to come up with a location, a camera crew, the dancer, communications back with the rest of the gang. And at 19 he did it right. Still couldn't get in for Be Prepared. But...at least the dancer had gotten him into the lamp.
The Bass Gang is phenomenal and I fully enjoy this project, to the point of giving a very modest contribution. Thus I shared the grief that Marwan couldn't join up in Czechia. But somehow the gang made it work and in this song actually having the advantage of the desert staging instead. I thoroughly concur of getting to know Casper Fox as well. He has several covers with various BG members and soloworks. In Moments of Silence with Marwan, on Marwan channel. I love Toxic on his own channel. A high tenor learning to sing bass, expect a crazy range. Yes, they're ending on Be A Friend, but the lamp story is a way to incorporate Marwan into the other videos. Whatch and see it unfold.
Peter said he was assigned the high parts for this one. Pay special attention to the lamp-it’s an important part of the series! It has been so fun watching Peter’s reactions to these and I’m looking forward to what Bobby does with his song. Edit: It’s great to see you back at it!
Bass and even a rich baritone are just so...wow. I can't really explain it well. It is like the feel of velvet brushing across skin. Soft and silky... so luxurious. I think it is funny that Bobby always chooses a super plain outfit that always seems to barely fit the theme. The rsdt havely lovely, ornate robes with beautiful embroidery and Bobby's robe is just plain.
They've done Be Prepared and Gaston. Friend like Me is next, but It hasn't come out yet, to my knowledge. I recommend "Be Prepared" and "Gaston" highly. "Be Prepared" is absolutely sinister and "Gaston" is absolutely delightful. If that's what they were going for, they nailed it.
Are they going up or down?
YES
I love how Marwan just cut loose and gave this everything he had. Such a performance. Really enjoyed watching your reaction!

Marwan is the person who wrote the arrangement for this song he is crazy talented for someone so young.

Already recorded Be Prepared. Will do Gaston soon
What is happening, you ask?
✨Pure magic ✨
And they didn't even have to use a wish
Do keep 2 slots open - one for VoicePlay's Hellfire and the other for Geoff's Jack's Lament. Both of them are at the top of their game.
I've already reacted to Hellfire
Peter had the majority of the high parts
