I want to say that X canonically knows the dude but I could be wrong. All I know is that I was suddenly thinking of Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda after I finished. "Finally! A worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!"
(X rides on a ride chaser, searching for the reported maverick, and another backwards ride chaser comes into view, facing X. Inside is a green reploid wearing a cloak)

I love the inclusion of the guitar part from the X Legacy Collection remix of MMX3's boss theme, that remix is rarely remembered
It's so rare that the remaster not only remixes the original song but improves it with additional sections, that game had a great soundtrack. They knew what made the originals good so they could add on it perfectly.

@@just-mees The drums are a large part, but the general composition (somewhat repetitive but nowhere near enough to be considered annoying, the "stutters", and the bass) also brings ULTRAKILL to mind
Something kinda similar to a ride chaser boss is the speedboat thing in wave man's stage (mega man 5) with the octopus boss

This, now this is the thing that makes me subscribe. GBD is one of the best characters in Mega Man history, and not even on an ironic level. It shows how no matter what, even if we know very little about a character or person or robot, we still have a reaction to their untimely death or sacrifice. Games commonly desensitize us to violence, so it’s nice to get a breath of fresh air and see so many people united for their love of GBD.
i think its more of a meme, like, most content i've seen of him is GBD being ultra op or that stuff, pretty sure nobody really cares about a minor character that simply appeared for like 4 seconds (maybe 5 if you count his body parts being split apart as screentime)

For some inexplicable reason I can no longer separate MMX2's opening theme song from Rock 'n Maxx, so I choose to believe that this Green Biker Dude is from the same alternate universe that brought us HELL AIRMAN and NIGHTMARE CRASHMAN and that they team up in the dark world to bring misery to those who leave the dead to their demise.

think you simply use a gigantic weapon and in your charge simply summon a motorcycle and you run into the enemy, man that would be amazing
Green, lean, killing machine...but MEAN??? I feel like GBD would be the one reploid EVERYONE should be scared of going Maverick. The Ride Chasers are faster than X can dash, and a crash can de-leg a mechaniloid, not to mention he took like, nine or ten shots from a bunch of big blue lasers to go down for a gigantic explosion. Do any of the Maverick Hunters have that kinda weaponry? If so, they were probably run over. X is probably the only one who can stand a chance, being pretty competent at Ride Chaser driving himself. It's gonna be tough, though, unless X can really master shooting on a moving vehicle.
Jet Stingray's stage gave him the training needed (unless this is supposed to be pre-X4, in which case Overdrive Ostrich's stage has him covered)
